Great game for all ages. My 4 year old had no problem understanding and getting the hang of the game.

Fun game for friends, family and self. The DLC pack is nice additon even at an additinal cost brings different courses. Love the double items, and online play! If you like mario kart this is as good as it gets until they maybe, or eventually release a new one.

If you are a fan of the Mario kart series and didn't get a chance to play the Wii U version,this is a must buy. Added characters and features make this the best version to date. Already own regular 8...tough sell but the portable nature of the switch gibesthis version the edge.

I originally purchased this for the Wii U when it was first released and didn't think you could do much to improve upon this other than the battle mode. Suffice it to say that the Switch version takes this to the next level by adding in a *really* good battle mode, decent online gameplay, all of the original DLC from the first Mario Kart 8, and improves on the graphics. This is a great buy and an absolute staple for any Switch collection.

Amazing FAMILY FUN! My 7 year old loves it! It has great graphics. And classic roads and music. Although it does seem to easy to drive compared to the Super Nintendo version

Even as an almost direct port of the Wii version, this game is still worth a purchase. Enough additions to stand on its own. If you don’t have the Wii version, then this is a must add for the Switch. The individual joycon controllers are a little strange, but easy enough to get used to. There’s so many courses and characters, that you’ll be entertained for hours, and when you are tired of it, it’s still a great party game with friends.

For someone who is most comfortable with video game from the 1990’s, I am actually pretty good at this game. So similar to the Wii version, this game is so much fun. I love how cool each level looks. It was helpful with the bumpers setting turned on I appreciated all of the options available in the start menu.

I also played this game on the Wii U, which was also great. This version of the game adds a few enhancements, such as changes to the way that items are held, and adding new characters. The biggest change is in the new battle modes, which are great fun. Overall, if you got your fill on Wii U, you may need to do mental calculus to decide if a portable version is worth it to you. If you never played the original, This a great game to get on the Switch!

This game is a great game. Hours of fun for the entire family. A new experience for a old family favorite.
