Hands down one of the best Mario Kart games I've ever played and I've been playing them since the SNES and N64 generations when I was a kid. It's great both for old school fans like myself and even new ones as well. Hours of endless entertainment be it racing by yourself or even challenging friends and family. It's an excellent addition to your Switch library of games.

First off let me say that I bought and played this game since day 1 it was released back on the Wii U so I have already put many hours into it before now. That being said even if you bought and played this on the Wii U it is well worth the price of picking up again on the switch. The battle mode is the biggest improvement over the Wii U version, but not the only one. Switch version runs at 1080p vs 720p on Wii U, it comes with all the paid DLC and of course the best feature... you can play it anywhere you want via handheld mode and it is absolutely gorgeous in handheld mode and on a TV. If you have never played.... buy it yesterday.... if you have it on Wii U... still buy it. As always I would recommend anyone buying video games to get the BestBuy Gamer club, it provides great year long discounts and since I have joined BestBuy is pretty much only place I get any physical games anymore. Great money saver.

So fun! Love that so many players can play at once. Great fun when friends come over! I especially love to play with the wheels!

This is an updated version of the classic Mario Kart games. Not much else to say about the game itself. I placed my order one night and it arrived the following morning.

Always was hesitant to buy this game and after 4-5 years I regret it, I should have bought this game a long time again! This is actually a great game especially entering in 2022! This is game is a must buy for all switch owners!

Let me start off by saying if you already own Mario KArt 8 on the Wii U, This game may not be worth $60 to you. There are a few differences like: New and improved battle mode Steering assist and auto accelerate Kart have been revamped so they do not have the same specs. A few new characters like the Inklings and King Boo Visuals upgraded to 1080p on the tv If this is going to be your first experience with Mario Kart 8, then I can't recommend it enough. This is absolutely the definitive edition, and with the mobility added in, you can't lose.

Having played the original MK8 on the Wii U (+ all the DLC), I'm happy to have bought the Deluxe version for the Switch, which comes with an improved battle system, new items (like the much missed Boo), and additional characters. All the racetracks and speeds are available from the start, so it's easy to jump right back in. Only complaint is that the highlight reel seems to have changed a bit for the worse, as it zooms in too much on the racer (especially when crossing the finish line), thus removing some of the desired context.

Fun game for the whole family. There’s levels to the hame of course from keeping it fun and simple or hard and competitive.

Product came brand new & worked perfectly. Game is crazy fun & glad I got it when I purchased the Switch. Mariokart is such a classic & this one didn't disappoint. Must have imo!

kinda mad at myself for paying $40 for a 9 yr old game, but still, the game itself is super fun! got it to play online with my friends and now we love to hate each other while we're all racing

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a blast! Easy to pick up, but with tons of depth. Awesome tracks, smooth graphics, and the multiplayer is chaotic fun. A must-have for your Switch!

I played Mario Kart at the local Dave & Buster's and it reminded me of the hours of entertainment I used to have as a child. I just had to go out and buy the home version for my Switch.

This is my favorite game of all time so far!!! I have Mario kart double dash on GameCube and this one has everything my and more that that has!!! I love this game so much! The graphics and quality are unmatched!!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

More maps, more battle modes, better graphics!! :) The best part is the new settings for drivers. You can set your driver up with 3 new easy settings. Auto-gas, Tilt steering, and auto in-bounds. Basically, the car goes for you and stays in bounds so you can not fall off the track. All you have to do is steer. This is perfect for the little ones. Now my 5 year old can race with me and we both get to have fun.

Its Mario Kart 8. Its a lot of fun and the new courses added are excellent. This game is as popular as it is because its simple even gor new gamers. Enjoy it!

My grandsons love the games they purchased with their birthday money. Kept them busy for hours. Nice inside activity when it is quite hot outside. Thank you
