||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I know this is just the same as the one for WiiU ( which I also have) but the battle modes in this version are more like the old school and far superior. I bought a Switch specifically for the battle modes in this game because that's what my friends and I do when we hang out and we all know it's much more fun to battle than race. We are all very pleased with the battle mode redesign. The only draw back is that we have to unlock karts through racing again which is a little tedious.

Its simply the best Mario Kart ever

The ability to pause and re-start on the Switch for Mario Kart makes it the perfect "set it down and come back later" game.

If you already had it on Wii U I wouldn't recommend for the switch though since it will get boring pretty quick since its pretty much the same.

Best in Series Since Mario Kart 64
