My 10 and 12 year old bought this

They say of you play it for 2 hrs it gets boring which is why they gave it only 4 stars. I think it looks exactly the same as the wii U game and don't understand why they bothered to get it. Kind of waste of money personally, but they wanted it and bought with their own money

Each entry has changed from game to game. I was going to buy a Wii U for Mario Kart 8 but, for whatever reason I didn’t. It seem my patience paid off when Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hit the Nintendo switch. Mario Kart 7 was the last game kart game to date I’ve played and 8 is no different really. No more than a bigger character roster to choose from and, bigger courses to race on.
