Mario Kart 8 was a great title for the Wii U, one of the few truly great games for a system that was few and far between with titles that made the console worth buying. This edition builds upon that version including all the DLC released for the Wii U version, as well as a few new additions to make it fresh enough for a retread if you have the previous version. If you don't own a Wii U or this game for the older system, I can't recommend it enough. Even if you do have it for the Wii U, being able to play it on the go and all the DLC still makes it worth the price of admission.

Mario Kart is the best kart racer ever. Mario Kart 8 is the best in the franchise. Lots of tracks and characters.

Has all the DLCs from Wii U and more. I have the Wii U and looks a bit better on the switch. The fact that I can take this game with me everywhere is amazing

To keep it brief, this is a well polished character racing game. There's a broad selection of characters from the Mario franchise to pick. There's a wide selection of vehicle options, each offering players with different play styles a good amount of choice. The HD visuals are good on the swich, it's clean looking, the music is lovely and catchy, complementing the colorful racetracks, which each a unique theme. It's a great title to pick up for any skill level, bit also offers a lot to players who want a challenge in higher difficulties.

I've had the most fun with this game than any other mario kart. There's tons more tracks and characters and karts to play as well as the improved battle mode.

Really great gaming experience. Smooth as butter, great music, fun sound effects, very immersive. I haven't really played much video games since the N64 (skipped both the Wii and WiiU, so I kinda feel like an old man jumping back into the World of Nintendo). It's made me feel like a kid again, and with how much stress I've been under these last few years with my health... that's a pretty big deal to me. Thank you,

The Kids adore this as do we the parents. Highly recommend this game as it is even easy for a 4-yr old to play and offers hours of family fun!

This is an awesome game for the SWITCH! Hours of fun with all the MARIO characters in different cars racing. The different tracks are great!

Great graphics, fun gameplay, and all the best Nintendo characters back for the new console. If you have a Switch there's no reason not to pick up Mario Kart.

An excellent purchase to have a great time with the family, Mario games never fail and even more so when it comes to local multiplayer. I highly recommend it and better if you buy the DLC of more tracks and characters. Great fun.

At the end of the day it's Mario Kart. Like a new model Ford Mustang it offers some updated and refined game play for a tried and true classic. The best part is with the DLC you can get 48 courses and 42 characters to choose from. AND, all of the courses are unlocked so you and your gaming buddies can play them ASAP. One gripe is that they offer an auto assist type mode to help out new players stay on the course. It is a little confusing on how turn the mode off but at least it can be. Great game, fun courses and lots of replay value. Worth every penny you spend.

This game has excellent graphics overall and makes owning a Switch extremely fun. It's your same Mario Kart from previous games with more tracks and vehicles.

This is an awesome start-up game for the new nintendo switch console. Definitely has a sense of nostalgia and has a timeless gameplay feel. Good for all ages!

Graphics are GORGEOUS! Easy to play on the go. Plug in at home and BOOM, on a SUHD screen for even better picture. It's not a 4k game, but the colors pop out.
