Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great game. Specific to the Switch, there isn't as much as you might expect that actually makes it 'Deluxe'. While there are a few more courses in the game that were only available on the Wii U version with additional e-shop purchase, and some additional characters, it is basically the same ol' Mario Kart (a few more bells and whistles throughout that aren't mentioned above). That isn't to say, you shouldn't purchase it, as it is a great game and one of the only four player options currently available. If you are on the fence, buy the game. You won't regret it!

Amazing game. Possibly best MarioKart ever. Definitely the best since the N64. MarioKart has never looked so good. And controls are perfect.

This game is a port of the Wii U mario kart 8 game. It is a delight to play, especially given that you have two controllers anywhere you take the console. I do recommend getting a grip or using the included shoulder pad to make the tiny joy cons a bit bigger.

Nintendo took everything great about this game on the Wii U and amplified it for this version. This is one of the best multiplayer games ever and offers hours upon hours of entertainment. This is a game that shouldn't be missed even if you played it on the Wii U like I did.

The awful Nintendo tax aside, this is a fantastic game and is 100% worth it when it's on sale, but at the full price of $60 it is a bit of a tough sell.

A great game for family as you can play 4 players at a time. Excellent for all ages!

I haven't played too much of it yet, but I do enjoy it a lot. I'm going to have to buy more controllers so I can play with friends rather than buy the online membership, but I'm still enjoying it.

Simply put, a must have. A blast solo or with friends. Numerous characters and upgrades (cars, wheels, sails) keep it interesting. Always good for spirited trash talking. Would recommend for all ages!

This deluxe version comes with all the courses and characters unlocked from the Wii U version's DLC, so right out the gate it has more content than the original. Plus, it now has a proper Battle Mode with a variety of fun objectives. And it's all mobile now with the Switch!

Nintendo has continued their amazing tradition of Mario Kart games. I remember playing the original Mario Kart on the SNES and this game, with better graphics and gameplay, still continues the Mario Kart legacy!

It’s an awesome game that gives our family a lot of fun. My husband and child are competitive and they both enjoy racing against each other in this game. I highly recommend this game for family nights.

Great graphics, can play split screen with multiple single joy cons, great for all ages!! The only reason for a good is it has same content from other Mario carts.

If you own the Switch, then this is a must buy! People of any age can enjoy this game (there are modes to help steer and drive for the real young beginners). I owned it on Wii U, but with the revamped battle modes and all characters, I bought it for Switch as well.
