I've played this on most consoles but what I loved about the switch version is that all the characters were uncovered alleys in the game. For my 7 year old that was a huge difference.

One of the best mario karts yet! Well worth the wait. Honestly I didn't buy a switch for a while but since I finally got one I am beyond happy I did & mario kart 8 is a must.

Love this game!! They have way more tracks and players to unlock!

Game itself is better than expected, Order/pick up at Best Buy took less than 2 minutes.

Love everything about Mariokart. It's a great game for the entire family. My 2 daughters, ages 9 and 12, really enjoy playing multiplayer with myself and their dad.

I use my Switch as a handheld device and it is very impressive to see great quality games there. I actually don't mind if we get ports of all the Nintendo Wii U games that people missed out on because you can take them on the go.

This game is great because its easy for anyone to pick up and have fun with. Rather your a beginner or an experienced mario kart player. Another great part of this game is all of the added content from the original wii u version.

Fun for everyone and non stop entertainment. This game can be played for hours and you will never get bored of it. Easy and simple to play that anyone can enjoy it.

Plays just like it did on the Wii U, but comes standard with the additional content that originally cost money, so that's a plus. Additional battle maps and characters to choose from. All in all, it's a pretty good reproduction.

Its Mario Kart what else is needed. I played the Super Nintendo game when i was a kid now I'm on the Switch playing. You will love thos game trust me.

Love this game being an older gamer this has been harder than the mario64 kart but with more practice getting there. Playing this online with friends is amazing

updated Mario kart is just as fun, if not more that the previous version on the Wii. this version has updated tracks and new features but always fun.

Purchased game for grandson's 7th birthday. He loves it! It was the first game he requested for his new Nintendo Switch...he'd had his eye on it for a while! It has provided him with hours of fun.

Really love this game. It's definitely no Mario Kart Double Dash - but I thoroughly enjoy it. What's cool is they included maps from older systems - along with some new ones so you get that bit of nostalgia <3

Would have been very disappointed if this would have been a wild change from what had already been mastered by Nintendo. Felt like I was busting out my Super Nintendo and playing all over again. Better graphics though of course.

A must have. Super fun and challenging. I should have bought the digital copy instead. Pain in the rear to keep track of the tiny cartridge. But its a really fun game

This game was meant to play with other people it’s is just way more fun that way. It lets you play with other people who own the game but don’t have Nintendo online subscription
