The biggest Mario Kart title to date. Packed with tons of racers and tracks by default. It also has a DLC available now that will double the amount of tracks over time! 8 released yesterday (March 18th 2022) and more will come in waves. If you like any previous Mario Kart game, then you'll like this.

Fun game for friends, family and self. The DLC pack is nice additon even at an additinal cost brings different courses. Love the double items, and online play! If you like mario kart this is as good as it gets until they maybe, or eventually release a new one.

Classic fun mario game, fun for everyone in the house

Overall, it’s incredibly fun and I can spend hours playing it. This Mario Kart has the classic SNES and N64 set up: every character and course is unlocked from day 1. You can still unlock new parts, but there’s nothing to unlock besides that. I found that aspect slightly disappointing, but the rest of the game is so fun that after my first cup or two, I just didn’t care.

The game is a blast! Threw me right back to middle school playing on the N64! Kids loved it too! We love playing together especially hooking the switch up to the TV and getting some split screen going!

It's nice to have almost everything unlocked at the start, but it kind of takes away from some of the fun of playing through the game to unlock characters and tracks. I also wish each character had their own unique abilities and stats. That being said, this game is a lot of fun and it's nice to have battle mode back. I like the steering and acceleration assists, they are very useful for my young children (and their grandparents).

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart ever in my opinion. The original release on Wii U had amazing races and beautiful graphics. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes that package, adds all the DLC from the Wii U, and then they add a full fledged battle mode with several game modes and more. There are also a few more additions like new racers and 2 items instead of 1. All Switch owners should pick this up!

My family and I love this game. Great gameplay and very fun!
