Mario Kart is such a vibrant and exciting game! It's fast and chaotic, but in a wonderful way. Having played the Wii U version I waited to get this on sale but I love it all the same. The nice thing is that it includes the previous DLC and extras. It makes an excellent party game!

The game overall is a lot of fun. I would recommend. It is family friendly and a great option for family game night. I would recommend getting a second controller. After playing a while on 2 player using the small Switch controller, your thumb will start to hurt after a while.

It’s super nostalgic because I remember playing Mario Kart when I was a kid with my friends. It reminds me of fun times spent with friends. Now I play it with my husband and my adult friends and it’s still great fun!

I got mario kart 8 in wii u before. It is a very fun and good game. It needed to buy extra DLC for characters/stages in wii u. The bad side is that is an old game re-make to nintendo switch. The good side is to buy this deluxe version to have all the characters/stages and no need to buy extra DLC. :)

After you figure out how to turn off the 'baby' controls by pressing + and 'Y' when you select your cart, it becomes a much less frustrating game. It's really fun to play with my roomies, they all hate me when I get the boomerang. Great family game too, I can see this being a great game for the kids. I grew up with games like Mario Kart and it was the stepping stone into opening interest in games. Encourage your children with this game on how to win gracefully and how to lose with humility, because there will be winners and losers.

Sharing nearly the same content as the Wii U version, this game includes all the DLC and brand new battle modes. As a long-time fan of Mario Kart, this entry hits the spot in almost every way. Fun and easy to control with wonderful visuals and music. Always fun to play either alone or online.

As a child of the 80's and early 90's, I LOVE Mario Kart games. And this one is no different, with one glaring flaw. The "rubber banding" of the competitors is outrageous. Maybe it's the "fog of time" clouding my memory, but I don't recall the programming being so egregious. If you are in first place, you aren't going to get anything useful from a cube, only bananas or coins. Other than that, the family really enjoys this game.

All the issues the Wii U version had, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fixes them. Most notably the battle mode of course, finally it's back arena style. Plus lots of fun modes to play too. Drifting has been improved with the ultra mini turbo. Load times are faster. It's just the definitive Mario Kart experience.

Uber fun for everyone in the home! BUT if Mario goes the way of the dinosaur (much to my socially distanced horror there have been several articles about such atrociousness online), If that is true, out of heartache and disappointment We'll have no choice but to switch to Playstation for our gamertainment next big purchase go-round, hence the 4 instead of 5 starts... that's right, I'm unapologetically childish and salty over the notion of a potential loss of our truly beloved Mario Bros games on Switch.

Mario kart 8 has so many features to enjoy from. It offers new courses and at the same time courses from the wii and gamecube. It’s overall a great game to play as a single player due to online interaction. It is also a great game to compete with family and friends at home. Highly recommend!

Honestly, this is probably the best MK rendition yet, in my opinion. They’ve added enough features to be new and original, while maintaining the nostalgic aspects for those of us that first played this on SNES in the early 90’s.

Great for parties or just showing off whos the best driver. Maybe because Im older but I had a harder time seeing the road and what was going on. There is just SO much happening in the background its hard to focus on driving.

It's Mario Kart...You know it's going to be good. No need to read reviews. Just buy it and you won't regret it. Sure, the CPU characters cheat and the game has an obvious bias towards winners but it's still fun.

Flagship game of this console. I would say this and Mario party are the coolest games to play with your children.

Great game plays at a solid 60 fps 99% of the time and tons of tracks to play in just the base game and you can buy additional tracks if those old ones bore you.

This game fits my expectations well. Now I can play with my friends during the party. But I really hope it can add more players so that I can invite more friends to play with me.
