It was fun when playing with friends, but kinda boring playing by self. I thought there would be a story mode or something, but it’s only just racing tracks.

I bought it for my son. Great condition and worked just fine. I'll always check Best Buy first, especially since their prices are surprisingly more affordable when it comes to games

I never played the WIIU version of this game so sorta glad I waited as now I get the definitive version! I really enjoyed the 3DS version of mario kart and am having just as much fun with this version. Plenty to do and even at 150cc its a good challenge and there is still mirror mode and 200cc grand prix to beat after!

Makes me want to have an aneurism at times because of all the movements and colors but a tried and true title that has been going strong for 25+ years!

Great purchase for those looking for a great way to play Mario Kart. This is the definitive version from the Wii U but better with battle mode. Wish the steel case came with it at launch though

The Switch version of Mario Kart 8 has the best graphics on the market. My kids love it, but I had to by the wheel remote since they were struggling with regular joy cons. Still a good purchase.

While this is similar to the Wii U version, it looks great on the Switch, and the 4 player multiplayer races are fun - especially when you watch the replays. Works well with the wheel accessory also.

You really can't go wrong with Mariokart on any system. Deluxe makes improvements to its predecessor (Mariokart 8 on Wii-U) and is on a superior system now. Can't beat that.

I have this game for the Wii U and I got it for the Switch because it is a really fun game. The new battle mode levels are a great time and being able to play a Mario Kart game in HD around the house and at school are dreams come true. Controllers feel very natural in hand held. It is a must have game for the Switch.

If you want the only reason why I bought the switch so I could relive the joy of Mario Kart. They blamed us with some friends who came over and we just been having a blast with it granted other people would say the switches best for Legend of Zelda but no personally this is what the switch was made for Mario Kart

Mario Kart is a no-brainer. It's always solid and anyone can jump in and have a good time. This particular installment has an enormous character list to select from, numerous fun and dynamic race maps, and the races can be completed in minutes. If you have the Switch, make sure it's in your gaming library.

Great Mario Kart Game. All characters and tracks are available from the start so you can pick up and play. Difficulty level does ramp up between all the cc classes. Overall great game.

This deluxe version of MK8 is a much improved upon version of the original Wii U smash hit. The visuals have been updated and the controls feel smoother. The new mini games are a huge improvement over the old Wii U version. This is a super fun kart racing game that can be enjoyed alone or with friends and family.

The new dlc courses are very good and detailed. It's very nice to have all of the courses unlocked right away and to not have to wait to progress through the game like previous versions. The single player is a lot easier on lower level difficulties, but the multi-player is still challenging.

This is essentially a port of the Wii U version of the game. However, they add a few new things. However, I don't think that justified a fully priced $60 game. Snag this when it's on sale.

It was really enjoyable, and it was great to go and get it.
