My favorite is still the original on SNES, but this one is good, to no surprise. Has there been a bad Mario Kart game?

Granddaughter loved it!!! She especially likes when grandpa plays too!

Me and my children love to play this game together. There are enough settings to make it easy for the kids and fun for dad.

Even if you did get the original one on the Wii U this one's still worth getting just on the fact that you can take it on the go. They also revamped the battle system which is so much better than before.

Super fun to play with so many character and cart options as well as the 200cc grand prix option. Suggestion: don't try and play this with a single joy-con or your hand will cramp. Especially if you have bigger hands.

I've always loved Mario Kart and it's been one of my favorite Nintendo franchise games, right up there with Pokémon! So worth it and so many hours of fun with friends and family.

I would say that Mariokart 8 is one of the best releases since the Super Nintendo version. My one complaint is that you no longer unlock cups, you unlock vehicle customizations. It's just not as fun in that format.

This Mario Kart is fantastic! It has so many different courses and car options. Also, you can use your Mii characters which is hilarious. I have played it with 2, 3, and 4 people and it is one of my favorite games.

Fun game to play by yourself or with friends. I've already played a ton and am still unlocking new experiences in the game.

The kids enjoy playing and I can even play with them as well. Some nostalgia from my days of playing Mario Kart.

New classic. A must have for Nintendo owners and the switch makes it so much easier to play. Saving our thumbs.

so the game is great, but it is pretty much the same as all the rest of Mario karts, just with better graphics.

Kart 8 was released with the Wii U so other then a couple of new cars and being able to have two items at once nothing has changed here. We love Mario kart but it would have been nice to have a new one to go along with the new system. Games are slim pickings right now and we do love Mario kart so we play quite a bit. It's just to bad Nintendo didn't roll out with some new games along with the system.

The new Mario Kart 8 is super fun to play by yourself or with friends. Different levels of difficulty, customizable carts, and other features give it good replayability too.

Like to play online with my friends, would love if you could do more challenges

My son and daughter love this game. With the 2nd pair of joysticks, my wife and I also join the game. The whole family playing racing car bumping into each other is a great fun!

My 5 year old loves this game! He can play it alone and we can play it together.

Very fun. Takes me back to the Nintendo 64 days. Different levels, many characters to chose from!

Despite being a title released for the overhyped underpowered Nintendo Switch, it still manages to deliver a good time.
