I am not a gamer Mom and believe kids should be outdoors. This was a happy medium for my 8 year old that we can play together

So my kids absolutely love Mario kart they begged me for so long to get this claim and I’m so glad that I did it’s something the whole family can enjoy I highly recommend it for all age ranges.

I am so exciting to have this game. I played together with my wife and she loves it. She is not good at racing games, but this game makes it very easy to control and she is quite enjoying it. The game is very friendly to newbies.

Good port from the wii-u. As noted elsewhere it's basically the same game. Graphics feel slightly better, but probably aren't. Well worth buying or re-buying if you had it in the Wii-u.

Mario kart 8 was a fantastic game on wii u and now having all the dlc on the switch makes it even better. Plus with the switches ability to go handheld it is without a doubt the best looking handheld game of all time and a joy to play.

Love the game. The new battle modes sure add a ton of fun to it. My only complain is the connectivity issues, they happen way to often and need to be addressed by Nintendo. Otherwise, the game itself is a must for every Switch owner.

ever since Mario Kart 7 from 3DS, I have been anticipating Mario Kart 8. It just couldnt make it to 3DS, and I did not own a Wii. I am so glad this got to release in the Switch. Great game, never failed and never boring.

This is another unimpeachable entry in the Mario Kart series. It looks great, plays great, and the single controller split screen is super convenient.

Have added more games to our collection but Mario Kart will forever be a classic, we race all the time :) Highly recommend the Switch console for both kids and adults!

MK8D feels right at home on Switch. Gamers who missed out on MK8 on Wii U should not hesitate to pick up this game. Those of you who've played MK on the Wii U might not feel like double dipping, but you won't be disappointed if you do.

Amazing! The family loves it! We had the Wii U version and this is a definite improvement. I wasn’t expecting the visuals to be so much better but they were very much so.

Love racing with friends and with the course pass we get to play old maps with new ones too!

I've never played the original Mario Kart 8, and I haven't really sat down and play a Mario Kart game since Double Dash on the GameCube; however, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a fantastic entry in the series, and is already my favorite. The graphics are superb, the gameplay is easy to pick up yet difficult to master, the tracks are all perfect length and have great soundtracks, and the character and vehicle selection is so robust that it can keep you playing for hours. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has a lot of great things to offer, and the split-screen multiplayer has been a great time with everyone I've played it with. Plus, the Switch automatically comes with two controllers which makes multiplayer more accessible than any other Mario Kart game thus far. If you're a Nintendo Switch owner, this product is a must-buy.
