Bought this for my sister since it was discounted for Mario Day, but I've had Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U since they originally released. Along with Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, I consider this an essential title to own if you have a Switch. The amount of courses, characters, and difficulties you can cycle between gives a lot of replayability and it's the best Switch game to play with your friends.

Great game, one of two that I own for the switch and have not put it down yet. The option to split the controllers is awesome for 2 players.

In my opinion, the best Mario Kart game ever! It is overall amazing, with the addition of new characters such as King Boo, Bowser Jr. and Dry Bones as well as Inkling Girl and Boy from Splatoon + the whole cast from the Wii U version, as well as updated Battle Mode, this is a must buy! Finally, you can play Mario Kart on the go with friends by sharing a Joy Con controller and compete where ever you want, whether that is Battle Mode or normal racing. I have the Wii U version and Switch version and you should get the game even if you have the original MK8 on Wii U.

We have been playing Mario Kart since it first came out. It was fun playing the old tracks along with some new ones.

You can’t go wrong with a great MARIO kart game. I love the new MARIO kart 8. The new online game play brings a whole other experience.

This game brings a new twist to a classic game. The graphics are stunning the play is better then ever, and you get more THEN your money's worth.

Awesome multiplayer action, fun for the whole family! Includes all of the DLC from the previous Wii U version and new battle modes! Highly recommended.
