The game is so fun I love Mario kart Ive played it since I was a kid now that I’ve bought the Nintendo switch Mario kart is so fun

This game is one of the main reasons I got a switch. It is extremely fun and the port over to the switch was done very well.

I’d gve it a 3.5/5 honestly I was super excited about this game after purchasing my switch, but upon playing it, I was left disappointed. I think part of the reason is that this game is really tailored towards a much younger audience. I’m 28 and grew up loving Mario Kart, my friends and I would play it in college on the Wii, it was still a great time. But there’s some noticeable changes with the latest version. First, nintendo opted to make a setting called “smart steering” automatic. For those who don’t know what smart steering is, think of it as bumpers when you bowl. You can fall off the course and your kart will override your controls to help you. I don’t disagree with having this feature for a younger audience, but don’t make it an auto setting. Second, a lot of the maps are designed to bedazzle and wow you, but i thought many lacked substance and detail that made me love so many of the courses of earlier time. Lastly, online play is often gruelingly slow. I have a 3DS as well, and the play on there is faster by a significant margin. I’m gonna keep playing, but as of now, my opinion of this game is luke warm

I've never found any Mario Kart game to be bad, and this iteration was no exception. Great graphics, solid courses

I am still playing this game after 6 months. Online mode against other people make this replayable long after you finish.
