    So we finally got a Switch. Mariokart 8 on the Wii U was a blast and so is the "deluxe" version for Switch, which includes all the DLC for Mariokart 8 Wii U, a few new characters, and new options/features. The college kid hosted a get-together with a few friends yesterday. Mariokart was the clear winner with lots of whoops, hollering, and hijinks--music to my ears (yes, teens and young 'dults can be full of grunts and groans...what a nice "switch"). I bought another set of joy cons...it's gonna be my turn next!
