This game is awesome! Fun alone, better with another, even better with three others. And you can play online opponents?!?! Also, having race courses from previous Nintendo systems gives this game a hint of nostalgia with current race features. Simply awesome.

While I owned this game for he Wii U, this port is fantastic and just as fun with bonus additions throughout. If you haven't owned the Wii U version I'd say this is a must buy for the switch. If you have then I'd weigh the options and added features in this game against how much you're willing to pay. I personally got it for the portability and the easy to start multiplayer (because the switch comes with two controllers already).

This game is amazing!! It was way better than I expected it to be. The graphics, new maps and new game modes make it much better than the one I played for the Wii. After a couple of hours I would get tired of the one for the Wii but with this one there's a lot of options to keep you busy for much longer. The ability to earn coins in races to customize your loadout and gear makes it even better. Definitely a new favorite of mine!!

Love this game!! Bought it for my kids and their switch but I play it too.

I used to play Mario kart on Super Nintendo, and I wanted to get this game for my son. The old tricks that worked a long time ago still work on this game.... like throwing a shell backwards or a banana forward and getting a boost start by pressing the gas at the right moment before the race. We’ve only done multiplayer mode and it’s fun to play together as a family.

Fun game. The same as the Wii U version except everything is already unlocked. Optimized for Switch

This was the first game I got for the Switch, and I think it's a must have. It's so much fun! I've played Mario Kart over the years in all the Nintendo Consoles, and I think this is the best one yet. Different difficulty levels, and options. Love the music and everything about it!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart ever in my opinion. The original release on Wii U had amazing races and beautiful graphics. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes that package, adds all the DLC from the Wii U, and then they add a full fledged battle mode with several game modes and more. There are also a few more additions like new racers and 2 items instead of 1. All Switch owners should pick this up!

game is verry fun even for adults. and also easy to navigate and up to 4+ players

I got this game when it first released on Wii U and absolutely loved it, so now I have finally got the Switch version. The gameplay is perfect! It is a mix of actual racing game, and absolute mayhem with all the power-ups and stuff. I am not normally a fan of racing games but Mario-Kart is the exception to that.

Has all the stuff you loved from the original Mario kart 8 with some added little goodies .
