One of the greatest local multiplayer experiences on the Switch. I haven't played much solo. +4 player splitscreen at 30FPS +Single player 1080P 60FPS +Includes all DLC from the wiiu and additional content exclusive to switch (inkling racer) +Kart customization and unlockables Can't think of any negatives. If you've played a mario kart game before it's the same formula. The graphics are great the game play is great. And it's really fun playing with a group of friends.

Great game great content, has lots of characters and fun tracks

This was a great game on the Wii U, but Battle Mode was horribly broken. Bringing all the expanded stages, characters and vehicles from the original (and adding a couple), then opening things up with a revamped Battle Mode including the classic balloon bash makes this the definitive version of Mario Kart. If you like racing, you must pick this one up!

A rock-solid addition to the Mario Kart franchise. It's easily the most comprehensive entry in the series thus far--outside of Double Dash's co-op mode (which seems to have been a one-off), it's hard to think of anything that's missing from the Deluxe version of 8. It's one of the best local multiplayer experiences on the market.

Great game, I bought it for my daughter and were playing a lot of hours. It has amazing graphics and different games.

This is the best Mario Kart game to date! Superb courses, nice characters and super smooth game play with a stable 60 fps. Also for time-trial fanatics there is enough to do with a Nintendo ghost to beat in every level and courses that let you master them in every detail, This is a no-brain er for every Nintendo Switch owner.

Excellent Game I love it cant get enough its the best Mario cart yet

One of the best games that you can get for the switch. This one is a must have. They have upgraded everything from the graphics, to the fps and have sooo many options for characters and cars combination. I wish they had a story mode of some sort. But this is tons of replayable fun.

great game that has made it through over the years. Excellent that you can online play, lots of character choices, and tracks to choose from. great game for all adults or kids! fun family game! Online play is amazing for current social distancing. and digital download lets you get the game instant!!

This game is so fun to play with family on multiplayer. The different courses and players make it a great game for any player. The different cars and tires and accessories is also a fun part to this game.

Awesone game, best Mario Kart yet! Great on the go w/ the Switch!

Nice improvements over the original Mario Kart 8. Classic style battle mode is a lot of fun. Hated the battle mode in the original game. The Boo item makes a return, missed that item since Mario Kart 64. Controls are great no matter which control style you are using. I prefer the pro controller. Graphics are beautiful and playing online is a lot of fun.

I was really excited to get this as my first game for the switch to see what has changed to make the game even better. The good: really crisp graphics, more precise motion steering, and the anti-gravity concept opens up a fun new way to find shortcuts. There are a few new battle modes as well which are much better than the old ones. The bad: it is so much like the wii game I don't feel like I'm playing a new game as much as an HD version of what I've played before. The other disappointing thing is it comes out of the box with all but one character unlocked and all the tracks unlocked. There's not nearly as much for me and my family to work for. Still a classic game but slightly disappointing.
