If you played one Mario Kart, you’ve played all Mario Karts. That sounds bad, but it’s not. It’s still as fun as it has ever been. It has enough depth that gamers will be learning shortcuts and drift lines, but the controls are simple enough that someone whose never played a game can have a good time. I strongly recommend.

Yes, this is a port from the WiiU version but it has some nice upgrades, additional tracks from DLCs are included and ability to hold 2 items is a nice feature too. This is one of the few games I have 2 versions (Wii-U and Switch). Nintendo has been a bit slow on the amount of new games being available, so this should help get you to when Splatoon comes to Switch.

Game is fun and addictive, graphics are great and easy to learn.

What can I say? This is the definitive version of Mario Kart 8 and is the best Mario Kart that Nintendo has ever made. It's such a fun, beautiful game and the multiplayer provides endless hours of entertainment. It's my go-to online multiplayer game for the Switch. If you're a Switch owner, this is a MUST OWN! I love this game. It's a great game for the family to play. You can play up to four players on a single switch and more if you link multiple switches. It's a must to hook up to a tv if you have more than one player though. This is our favorite game to play together as a family.

An all time classic. I’ve played many Mario Karts over the years and they never disappoint. Good for all ages and gaming proficiencies.

I was very hesitant to buy this because spending money on something I had for the Wii-U seemed ridiculous. With some discounts I got it, and found it to be a must have for Switch owners. They improved everything and the new battle mode is superb. The portability of this game is by far its greatest strength, and of all the racers available there is nothing better.

This is it. Nintendo made their best Mario Kart game. 8 Deluxe has almost everything you ever wanted from Super, 64, Double Dash, DS, 7, and 8 combined (2-slots for items, tier-3 turbo, battle mode, customizations, etc.). The only problem I've come across are online network connections, but anything online seems to be an ongoing issue with Nintendo since the Wii.

My granddaughter is enjoying her game for the switch.

Back and better than ever, this Mario Kart comes with features that allow practically anyone to play this amazing and timeless classic. New features such as steering assistance and auto-accelerate allow kids to play as well as people with disabilities. Great job Nintendo for opening up to these audiences and maintaining one of the greatest franchises of them all.

The only other video games I ever like were the car games and this one has everything I love. It is so much fun and can play for hours.

Warning, kids will be on it for hours and maybe even days :) Worth every penny, great game, great graphics. Lots of new features, tracks, kart configurations, etc. We purchased the actual game versus the online version so that we can keep a copy as a collectors item for years.

Have been a fan of mario kart since when it came out on the gamecube. Its refreshing and a good feeling when i can still play the game that i had played as a kid, but now as an adult.

I bought a Nintendo switch lite pink colour for my 5yrs old daughter, plus a game, but she didn't like the game, but i discovered it wasn't within her age ratings though i asked the sales representative who actually gave me a wrong information that made me to purchase, he was more about moving me on to attend to next customer. Nevertheless, they refused to accept it for return because they said it's been downloaded, we never played or had a game in our lives, just a new experience which i made known to the rep on that day.
