Anybody can pick up this game and have a blast. It's bright, it's colorful, it's easy to play, and it's a lot of fun. Even better with a couch and friends! Just make sure you have a controller for everyone plus a decorative pillow or two you can hurl at whoever it was that got you with that blue turtle shell.

Bought this game for the kids as we’ve played it on every gaming console. Very easy to use even for my two year old. There is a setting where it automatically accelerates so your little one can just steer the remote to drive rather than having to hold down a button.

Do yourself a favor and buy this game!!! Nothing about it is anything less than perfection. Hours - no, DAYS - of fun for yourself, family, and friends. Only thing I wish there was more unlockable content available through gameplay - most everything is available from the start. All in all, could not be happier with this one.

It’s fun alone but really shines through with friends. It’s another Mario kart game. The double items really can change things up tho. Online can be really choppy, I hope it can be improved on

Grandson is very happy with this game. Plays it all the time. He says that it's his favorite game of all time. Good game for younger kids. Will buy him more mario games. He says thank you Nanny. It's a great game so thank you. I get i love you nanny so much. Lol

Really fun gameplay...easy to operate and learn to play

AS someone who purchased MK8 on WiiU, I did have second thoughts on buying it again for Switch. However, I'm glad I did. This version is fantastic. It has all the content from the WiiU version, plus all the additional content included. MK8 on switch is fantastic - local multiplayer on one or multiple Switch consoles is easy and fun.

I recently purchased a Switch, which is the first console I've owned since the Wii. I'm generally not much of a gamer when it comes to modern systems. There was a bit of a learning curve and the game itself does not have much in the way of instructions, so I had to watch YouTube videos to learn how to play. I love that I can play online with random people around the world and I can play my brother, so we can interact even though we don't live close to each other. For what you get $60 seems pretty steep for a Nintendo game, but at least there was a deal at the time to get the game for $50.

Fun game love all the new maps compared to what wii had. Also like that if you finish all the ones it comes with you can upgrade to more cups!!

The last Mario Kart I played was on the WII so the jump tot Deluxe on the Switch was well worth it. I have heard the Switch and Wii U versions are similar/same and not necessarily worth it. The only thing so far I do not enjoy is the new multiplayer split screen is vertical and this makes it hard to see farther ahead on the tracks.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for the family and they were hooked from the start. The game is extremely competitive and fun with the various racetrack levels. As a matter of fact, I had to literally stop everyone from playing in or for them to go to bed!

Classic gameplay reminds me of the original Mario kart games with a lot more to it perfect for all ages

I can honestly say playing this game with my kids on our new Switch has been the most fun I have had playing a video game since the days of the original NES! So many more tracks and customizations and the karts move so much faster! One of those games you can play for hours and has high replay value. I highly recommend.

Mario Kart plays just as you remember it from your childhood, and the race courses are stunning and innovative in design. My only complaint is that auto steering is turned on as default, and it can’t be switched off until you actually start the race. This should be an option when you pick a kart before a game.

This may the the 3rd time Ive bought this game. Different accounts for different switches. With Its funal update, it is now complete.

I like how they included the classic race tracks or even subtle hints of it. Brings back childhood memories. I also love the additional tracks, characters, and modes. Playing wirelessly with others is also awesome. sometimes the party connection gets lost but its simple enough to restart it. Overall a great buy to play with others.

Favorite racing game & my 2 year old loves watching is play which is a huge plus!!
