This is a great version of Mario Kart with pretty smooth online play. Mario Kart is best enjoyed in my opinion racing others. The game plays well with 2 players going online on a single switch on wifi. Lots of way to customize your cart too which help you pick your favorite character but still have stats that suit you better.

Mario Kart is such a fun game to enjoy by yourself and with others. This game is highly needed Nintendo game.

I personally love Mario kart. This version is not a lot different then the one on the Wii U. But battle mode is complete redone and amazing. The courses could be better but they are still amazing. There are some new characters as well. The best part is that you can plan with one friend on the little screen if you don't have a tv!

Love this game and it really takes me on a nostalgia trip as it reminds me of when I would play Mario Kart on the GameCube as a kid with all my friends. I really like the gameplay and the overall look of the game. Would definitely recommend this game to anyone who liked the past installments in the series.

A great game for all ages and experience. I have a 5yr old nephew that plays it with my 19yr old son and I and we all have a great time together. So many tracks and games to play to keep you busy for hours. There are many different characters to play as and different ways to customize your cart you can't go wrong with this game.

Mario Kart is a pretty good game for the whole family. It is easy to pick up and doesn't require a lot of thought. So a great game for a family tournament. I have to say that I like that you don't need to read a huge manual to figure out how to play and it is entertaining to see the whole family jump in.

I was waiting for a new mario kart game for the nintendo switch which is why i didnt pick up this version carried over from the previous nintendo console, but im not disappointed AT ALL. Very fun game just like all other mario kart games before it. Strongly recommend it.

Is there anyone who doesn't love Mario Kart with friends? This is a great game to play with other people, especially the old-school split screen way. There are lots of difficulty levels so its great for both new and experienced players alike.

Just like you'd expect in the latest installment of the Mario Kart franchise, this game will not disappoint. Bringing in the classics as well as some new tracks and drivers, this game will bring hours of fun to you and your family. If you are on the fence about purchasing this game, come on, it's Mario Kart, you can't go wrong.

What else is there to say about this game that hasn’t already been said this is a must buy for the Nintendo switch. It is a fun single and multiplayer game but just know online matches are tough so get ready for a challenge.

Even though it's the same game as the Wii U version, this version is even better than what I expected. Now you can play on the go, play 2 players with each joy-con, include all dlcs, and now you can carry 2 items. Just like any other Mario Kart, this game is really fun to play with friends, family, and with other people online.

So fun! Extra levels with subscription. Never going easy on my son. He has to earn his wins.

If you dont own this game for the WiiU, it is a no-brainer. It is one of the best racers ever and [packs a load of features. Even if you have played the wiiU version, all the addiitional features makes it worth getting again. Multiplayer is a blast both online and local. It is easily the most accessible racer for modern consoles

This is a wonderful evolution to the Mario Kart that started it all. Great for head to head fun with the family.

You can play with 1-2-3-4 people. Selecting 3 still splits the screen 4 ways. Mario and Zelda set the bar too high, it’s clear that this one was a Wii U port instead of a Switch title. Make sure to turn off assisted turning - it’s on by default and the setting is kind of hidden. This setting is great for the family - grandmothers and children, or casual adults, but if you want to test out short cuts and drive around with more freedom turn it off. It’s virtually identical to all other Mari karts before it, which is why I can only give it 4 stars. The new Mario and the new Zelda are simply amazing and this one does not match - it’s still great fun - an easy to pick up party / family game.

My girlfriend and our friends bought me the Nintendo switch for my birthday recently and they got Mario cart 8 deluxe so we could all play together since we always have someone over, and I’ve always loved the Mario carts on my DS and this game is very entertaining and great to have when we have people over.
