Great Game. Great on Wii U and Switch.Nintendo has a horrible online account management. I have the Wii, Wii u and the switch. To migrate one account to the other with all the online purchased games do not exist. The Red N wants you to keep rebuying the same games over n over. THE BIg N should model their online after STEAM. I never once got penalized for buying a new PC to play games I purchased from the past. Other than that, the Mario Kart game is awesome. Some graphics update, smooth, lots of replay value. Easy to to play.

Fun game for the entire family, if you get a switch i mean, you have to get mario stuff!

Originally, I considered just sticking with Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U, but eventually decided to get Deluxe for the Switch primarily based on my friend's review and the fact that I hardly play my Wii U anymore. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe includes everything the original does, but also includes a ton of added features like new maps, characters, DLC, ability to hold two items, etc. It also has new features for beginners such as smart steering (basically prevents you from going off-road). This game is a ton of fun, and in my opinion, a must-have if you own a Switch.

Possibly the best Mario Kart game to date. Gorgeous game with an excellent art style, and runs at a native 1080p/60fps compared to the Wii U version's 720p. Additionally, it comes with all DLC. The tracks themselves are also peak Mario Kart, and with 48 tracks there's an amazing selection to choose from. The only negatives I have? I have no idea why Nintendo decided to make multiplayer split-screen *vertical*, rather than a more logical horizontal. Secondly: No option for download play, which is lame, honestly. That said, still an amazing game.

MarioKart keeps you playing over and over. So fun and it hits the nostalgia buttons just right. If you love racing or battle mode you’ll love the game. Graphics look great and it plays super well on the switch. I still wish Nintendo would drop prices on their big name properties seeing as this game has been out since launch pretty much. A four year old game shouldn’t retail for almost what it started as. Other than that a great game.

We love the game it’s a great Way of entertainment even we jump in with a five year old and raise sometimes there’s a lot of cool things that the game offers like the battles and all kinds of different gimmicks that you can do in a game to stop the other person from winning Options for the characters in the vehicles and modifications are pretty cool I need to overall great way of spending some time with the kiddos and entertainment Would definitely recommend

Bought the game for my nephew as a birthday gift. Video game about go karting and with Super Mario / Nintendo characters? Of course he loved it!

For those that are looking for fun racing with friends, you can't go wrong with Mario Kart.

Great for family game night! lets talk about the tracks, it been a while since I played so to start off the first track Mario stadium I think it's its a great first impression to a mario kart game so at the beginning you have three lanes then you keep going till you hit the anti gravity part you go on a big curve and then you hit that ramp and bam your gliding now oh yea and there is a helicopter there you land and then drive to the finish, then you have this sunken theme park track and it is fire so first you go up the stairs and then you take a sharp turn either to the left or to the right it depends to you go on this track until your under water then you go on a windy tur around some tea cups then you resurface take a turn and now your gliding to the through the bottom of a ferris wheel and there is also a ticket station and past that it the end.

Mario Kart is a staple on Nintendo and thy didn't slack on this one either. This game is super fun.

Best game ever. Came so quick and easy to buy. Sad they took the movies/games out of the actual store.

I originally owned Mario Kart 8 on the WiiU and was initially hesitant to purchase Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch because of how much time I put into the WiiU Version. Minutes after popping in the game, my doubts were quickly erased. There have been few changes to the game (able to hold 2 items, additional characters, modes), but the core racing is the same and just as amazing. Being able to switch between playing on the go or at home is definitely the biggest perk for purchasing this version. I highly recommend this game to anyone who has the Switch.

I had this game on the Wii U and loved it and the switch version is even better. The graphics are upgraded, more characters, tracks & new items.

This game is awesome! It's a remake of the timeless classic with all the great graphics you expect from the Nintendo Switch. You start off with all the characters and tracks so that's a big plus and you progress through the game unlocking more vehicles and their accessories. It's great playing local multiplayer or even online multiplayer if you need an extra challenge. Lot's of great drivers out there so it's sure to please every skill level.

Another fun iteration of Mario Kart! Got this for my daughter for Christmas. We enjoy racing each other and all the tracks included. There are also remakes of some classic tracks that brings back some memories of the older games.

Best game for switch helps me get through my day and staff was really friendly

Having already paid for the original version on Wii U and the DLC, I was completely against purchasing this for the Switch. After much debate with my husband, we finally decided to give the Wii U version to a friend that has neither the game nor the switch and purchase this version... I'm so happy that we did! The new battle modes are amazingly fun, the portability of the switch makes this a great game for parties, and it's just as fun as ever! I even feel like it controls a little better than the Wii U. LOVE it! I recommend you buy it!
