Great graphics, can play split screen with multiple single joy cons, great for all ages!! The only reason for a good is it has same content from other Mario carts.

If you own the Switch, then this is a must buy! People of any age can enjoy this game (there are modes to help steer and drive for the real young beginners). I owned it on Wii U, but with the revamped battle modes and all characters, I bought it for Switch as well.

Mario kart is a fun and exciting game to play with friends and family!!! It reminds me of the olds days when I would play on gameboy as a kid. Now I get to share that experience with my son.

Just what you’d expect. Bought it for our daughter but the wife and I enjoy playing along. Sometimes you just have to teach your kids to lose.

Wow what a treat for any gamer to play. Several different drivers and customizable cars/cycles to choose from. The courses are fun and addicting as usual which makes it hard to step away. The addition of Link and Splatoon into the mix makes it even more intriguing.

This is such a fun game. I was hesitant to buy at first because I wasn't sure if I'd get tired of it easily, but the replay value has me coming back for more. It's a ton of fun when playing with friends. Highly recommend it as a nice pick up and go Nintendo Switch game

Gameplay is on point I'm glad they brought back the 2 items to use and gameplay is smooth. Overall I would recommend. I got this when it was on sale along with my gcu., which make it even a better deal. Not a lot of first-party Nintendo games go on sale.

When I bought my Switch, I already had Mario Kart 8 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Wii U. I immediately bought this, while BOTW took a price break to be worth the double dip. You do NOT want to run into another Switch owner and not have this game.

If you played the Wii U version then you'll largely know what to expect with MK8D. It comes with all of the DLC and adds an improved and true battlemode. If you skipped over MK8 on the Wii U then you owe it to yourself to experience the best Mario Kart experience to date!

Nintendo has continued their amazing tradition of Mario Kart games. I remember playing the original Mario Kart on the SNES and this game, with better graphics and gameplay, still continues the Mario Kart legacy!

I've played almost every Mario Kart since release, starting with Super Mario Kart, except for Mario Kart 8 due to never having a WiiU. When I heard 8 was coming to switch i got really excited and I have to say was not disappointed! This is the pinnacle of Mario Kart games!

Although it is a game from many years ago, it still brings us joy.

Bought this for my grandson for his birthday and his eyes almost popped out of his head when he opened it! He told me he is having so much fun playing it. (so does his dad!) The salesman at the store was so helpful in my purchase that I couldn't thank him enough!

Simply put, a must have. A blast solo or with friends. Numerous characters and upgrades (cars, wheels, sails) keep it interesting. Always good for spirited trash talking. Would recommend for all ages!
