My aunt had this game on the Wii (non deluxe version) and we knew about the Mario Kart games, but I've played these games for years and loved this game. I wasn't any less disappointed in the Switch version. This is a core game I 100% recommend grabbing and is great fun with a group of 4 to play. The options to help beginners/younger players make it less frustrating and more fun for everyone to play as well. I couldn't recommend a console game on any platform more than I do this game..

I've grown up on this game and this version is keeping it fun! Good stuff, lots of tracks car upgrades and characters.

Great fun video game. I keep playing it over and over again

I bought this game because I wanted to play Mario kart racing games likes I used to when I was little. I love that the game is similar to the original racing games. I love all the different maps and characters there is to choose from. It is very exciting to be able to play multi-player on my new Nintendo switch.

This game was already fantastic on the Wii-U, but since that system was very undersold, many people were not able to appreciate this fantastic game. Luckily, Nintendo has made the great decision to re-release the Wii-U's best games on the Switch, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the first such game. All the DLC is included, extra modes, including a better battle mode, have been added, and the graphics even seem slightly tweaked. And the best part? Absolute portability! Play it anywhere!

When I first got it, I played it practically all the time about. I got into it, especially with the online membership. It's a fun, addictive game that you should play. You don't need the online membership as you can play against the computer. My favorite course is the Zelda course. Nintendo just keeps adding courses! This game you can play forever and still have a fun time.

What more can you say about Mario Kart 8 deluxe? Infinite replay value and is a recipe for a good time. Game has many modes and will take some time for people to master it. Easy to play, hard to master is the reason why this game stood the test of time.

If you bought this game on the Wii U, then you already know how great it is. If not, then you are probably in for a pleasant surprise. It brings everything that the Wii U version had with it plus adds a few Battle Modes. It's a great game for either those that enjoy competition or people who just want to relax and have some fun. While it may just seem like another racing game, there are all sorts of hidden shortcuts and fun surprises along the way.

I never owned a Wii but if you do then you must've owned and played this at one point. I'll speak to this version of the game and it's really fun. A lot of characters to choose from, you unlock more items for your vehicles the more you complete cups, and if you make a tournament for your friends then I see this game giving you many hours of gameplay. Not worth it for the full price though, sorry nintendo.

Fantastic service and a fabulous game. Mario kart is an all time favourite

Wow this is a fun game for the kids in the family as well as the adults. Easy to set up for almost any age and jump right in. Kids will love the cartoony characters and courses, adults who don't even like games will find themselves acting very competitive after just one race. Cannot recommend enough for a household who is looking for some together fun.

Mario Kart 8 is so fun! You can play alone or with a group of people. As always, there's racing as well as battle modes, so you can play whatever you're in the mood for. This game has fun characters, cool vehicles, wheels, and parachutes, as well as fun and colorful raceways/battle arenas. Mario Kart 8 is definitely a must have for your Nintendo Switch collection!
