Never thought I’d be reminded how much I love LAN parties and this game did so. Had so much fun with Mario Kart 8 and the tracks never failed to put a smile on my face. Wonderful buy for anyone needing a game on their Switch

Tons of fun and a blast with my kid. We can play with friends and the program works like a charm no glitches. The controllers for Switch that is another story. Ugh!

IT's Mario Kart. Nuff Said. You get all the DLC content from Mario Kart 8, plus a new battle mode. It absolutely feels like it was made for the Switch, and playing on the go is fantastic. Mario Kart PARTIES FOR EVERYONE! HUZZAH!

Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Switch is a better game than Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. It has more to offer in every aspect. If you have a Switch, this game needs to be in your library! My kids and I love battling and racing on it!

This is all of the classic Mario Kart you love, experienced on Switch. Race mode with fun weapons and characters, battle mode, etc. If you've ever liked a Mario Kart game and have a Switch, you'll like this one, too.

My wife doesn’t play video games generally, but she loves this game! It’s always a good time when you have nothing else to do. Highly recommended for Mario Kart vets and newcomers!

I bought this game mainly to play with my wife and kids. All 4 of us are very competitive and have a blast playing this game. I couldn't recommend this game more if you have kids and are looking for a great game to play together.

Bought the Switch for my son as a Christmas present and had to make sure he had a game to go with it. This seems like the most important one to have.

This game is just perfect for the family.The little ones can play with the new method that allows not to fall from the track. It has dozens of tracks, all the cars from the WiiU version. You have months and months of entertainment.

This is really the definitive version of Mario Kart 8. If you've not checked it out on the Wii U, it's more or less a required buy for the Switch if you have any interest in Mario Kart. If you've played it on the Wii U without the DLC, I think there's enough value here to make it worth the buy. If you had the DLC, that's when things become more muddled. It's certainly great, and the ability to hold two items adds a new dynamic. There's also the improved battle mode, which is great. But unless you want to take it on the go and play with friends, I'm not convinced it's worth it. It sounds as though the online isn't in the best shape either, if that's a big point for you. Overall it's a ton of fun though. If you want some good kart racing, it'll be hard to go wrong with Mario and friends.

Very fun to play with family and friends. You can also play with other people from around the world or against computers made by the game.

This game is everything I wanted it to be. Lots of fun be able to play new maps and new characters on the switch but have the same feel as the older games. Also so much fun to play online against people. Highly recommend this game!
