Typical Mario Kart brilliance. Just an incremental update from Wii U version, but there are enough improvements to convince me to buy it again. More tracks and characters than before, and the new and improved battle mode is nice.

Just when I thought the Wii U had squeezed all of Mario Kart's graphical juices, was I wrong! The Switch produces amazing colors and depth , while adding more levels and the ability to hold two weapons along with more characters!

Great game. Brings me back to the old Nintendo days. Very simple and game quality is fantastic. I love that I can take this any where and play since the sides come off and become 2 controllers. I highly recommend!

this game has all the tracks ever created for mario cart. ranging from GBA to N64 to the gamecube. if you are a fan you cannot miss this. Becuase of the NS unique design you can play anywhere you want with friends.

I’ve played Mario Kart when it was on Nintendo 64, so it’s really great that I can play it with much better graphics. Also, since it’s for the Switch, I love that I can take it with me anywhere and play with people.

This version of Mario Kart 8 is the definitive edition. It's loaded with tracks and characters with still some things to unlock and customize. Best of all, battle mode is back! This is a must own for any Nintendo Switch owners.

Whilst I can understand why Wii U users may feel disappointed looking at the price of this game, in my opinion it's still worth it. The game is great and still extremely fun on the Switch. It's a must have for the Switch.

If you have never played the original Mario kart 8, then this deluxe version is the version for you, as it has all characters, including the Wii U DLC, and new characters from the start, plus a brand new battle mode. As someone who had already played Mario kart 8 extensively, Mario kart 8 deluxe is fun, but doesn't add much else to the table from the original. I only put in 25 hours before it's novelty wore off. I can't say it's a must buy for people who already played through the original Wii U version.

Who doesn't like MarioKart. Lots of tracks, lots of characters. Fun for the whole family.

This is my second time buying this game - had it and the expansion on the Wii U. Still a beautiful game years after it was released and a great way to engage with my young son and enter him into the world of Mario. Controls are easy - you can have really basic controls if you use the joycons or more advanced if you use the pro controller or the included adapter that turns 2 joycons into a standard controller. The game’s online functionality keeps your kids safe from anyone acting inappropriately but does not protect them from bad drivers. Overall a wholesome recommendation!

Graphics are excellent. Motion sensitivity of switch joycons is much better than the wiiu remotes. My kids ages 9 to 12 love playing this game and I enjoy it as well. We like the compact design and portability.

Its Mario Kart 8 on the go! How can you go wrong with this? It is basically the Wii U version with all the DLC and a few very minor changes. I hope they get us some extra DLC, but its worth the money just to have it portable!
