This is the best Mario kart yet. Takes all the great courses and elements of the past games and winds them into one amazingly addictive package. For new comers there is tue new drive assistance that will help people that aren't too familiar with Mario kart or might have trouble controlling the game stay on the course and not fall off or run into things. The best new feature is the auto accelerate toggle. Turning this on you will no long need to hold down the A button to go anymore as the game will automatically go for you. You still have to turn and drift and brake and do everything else but you can now give your right thumb a much deserved break . If you own a switch you must get this game .

Super fun game just like any of the mario kart games. My kids love to play it and the driver assist features are amazing for the little kiddos to not get super frustrated in playing. Would recommend.

If you like Mario Kart, you will like this one. I hadnt played since Game cube, so it was nice getting to play old levels, as well as new ones. Really easy to get right in and play.

I've played Mario kart since I was a kid on my snes (which I still have). Throw back courses from SNES, GameCube, nintendo64, Wii and ds are always fun to play even with the new twists. Ever since having my kids we've played on different systems but they love Mario kart 8 especially since there are new ways for them to finally "beat mom". Also multi player on cups is easier to 3 star when each person is working together to insure first place stays first. The new 200cc is a refreshing challenge. The battles take a bit of getting used to but once adjusted it's pretty easy for my 6 year old to win. All in all its good family fun when everyone remembers it's just a game.

This is the best iteration of the franchise, hands down! The host of tracks, characters, vehicles, options, and "kids driving options" make this a must-have for any Switch owner.

Played this game a ton when it was on the WiiU and now that it is on the Switch it is even better. Being able to take the switch to a friends house and just had him a controller is amazing.

I bought all the Mario games for the switch for my 5 year old son. Mario kart is the most fun so far from my opinion and easier to play than the other Mario games for a 5 year old.

this is a fun game. the new tracks are awesome. i wish they didn't repeat so many of the old tracks. i would say 2/3 of them are old tracks. the graphics are a bit more sharp as compared to the wii u.

If you're someone like me who has gotten MarioKart on every Nintendo gaming system you could, then you won't be disappointed. Fun, great graphics, challenging new levels, love it!

Bought it for my grandson for his 7th birthday. It was on sale and cheaper than anywhere else and it shipped the next day. He loves it.

I love the card better just put it in switch lite and play

This game has just about everything you would expect from a Mario Kart game and then some. Great fun for the whole family. Even my 4 year old loves driving around collecting coins.

Mario Kart has been my favorite game since I was a kid! I love that you can customize your car, play all the nintendo characters, and unlock new vehicle items and characters! Love all the tracks too!

If you played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, this is the same title with a couple of added features. That being said, it's still a ton of fun and a great title to have while the Switch starts to populate its choices in titles. I personally have found it super satisfying to load up the game, play a quick race online in between normal day to day tasks. I think the full $60 price is a bit much for a re-release but I normally expect that from Nintendo.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch does not disappoint. Just like the earlier versions, it promises tons of fun, both as a single player or in a race against your friends.

Mario Kart has long been one of the best "Party Games", and this version is no exception. I have a five year old niece who can pick this up and play it alongside her mom, dad, and me. Lots of vehicle types to choose from, lots of items to unlock, and the hilariously enjoyable gameplay that has long been a hallmark in this series. This was one of my first purchases after picking up a Switch, and i was not disappointed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fun and enjoyable to pick up and play with friends or family

With more tracks, karts, and characters then the original along with a new and improved battle mode, mario kart 8 deluxe is the definitive mario kart experience and a must own for any switch owner!
