It’s like the classic Mario Kart from the doubl dash days of the game cube. The levels have some nostalgia to them but are completely over hauled. The battle mode is my favorite.

The different racing speeds are great for racing with people who have varying levels of skill. The smart drive options that keep you from falling off of the track and from having to press the accelerate button make sure that you're only focused on having fun. There's also a great deal of options for vehicle customization so that no race is ever the same as another. It even has all of the legacy tracks; can you say "nostalgia"? They're updated with the gravity defying tracks of the recent games to give them a fresh feel. The battle modes are crazy fun too. There's just no way to hate this game, to be honest. 10/10 Nintendo delivers every time.

I dumped tons of hours into the Wii U version and have started that all over again with a version that is fully mobile. This is some of the most fun you'll have playing a video game.

This is has been a favorite game for me and my family! There's different levels and types of gameplay. We have taken the challenge of trying to unlock all the items and win all the trophies. It's so much fun to play by yourself or with friends. I'd say 5yrs and up can play if they're familiar and interested in video games. The controls are very simple, it's just learning the tracks and tricks. Love the game though, super fun! As many times as we've played since we bought we're still not bored.

The game has different modes and is really fun specially when you battle with other family members. You can play it on the go and on the TV smoothly.

I had this for Wii U on release and yet I've played this more than that version. This has all characters unlocked and also the ability to hold 2 items. Well worth the price tag.
