I loved Mario Kart on the Wii, and this updated version does not disappoint! The graphics are incredible just as I imagined they would be. Hours of fun!

This is by far my son favorite game. There’s plenty of characters to choose from and lots of new and exciting tracks to race on. Over all great game!!

Mario Kart is still the king of kart racing. The auto drive and auto steer make it easy for young children to enjoy it with the rest of the family!

I'll start by saying Mario Kart 8 on Wii U is one of the prettiest games currently on the market. Deluxe is no exception, bringing the experience to the Switch. The return of battle mode is a welcome addition as is the pack-ins on all the original DLC, plus some new characters. If you missed it on Wii U or slept on the DLC, I highly recommend this game. Everything runs great both docked and portable, the new smart steering being great for newbies and younger children. Single Joycon support is also present and works great. If you own a Switch don't miss out on this game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch is an enhanced port of the original Mario Kart 8 for Wii U. Improvements include new playable characters, new items, the ability to hold two items at a time, all DLC from the Wii U version is included, revamped Battle Tracks that are way more fun to play, 1080p60 FPS in docked mode and 720p60FPS in portable mode. All of these changes and more make it awesome and very fun to play. One of the best Mario Karts.

I bought this game for my son. He hasn’t started playing yet but the product came in a timely manner. No issues with the package.

This is mostly the same as the previous couple installments but it's for the Switch and includes some new features such as multiple items and Splatoon characters. I believe some modes may be new too. The online multiplayer is also more challenging than vs cpu. Local multiplayer was simple with the joycons and some inexpensive wheel grips. Though, it still required changing the layout through the system, not the game. Ultimately, I prefer the Pro Controller with this game most if you can. Though it's not necessary at all, I think the game is more responsive to its precision.

You can't go wrong with Mario Kart. It's for fun all ages. Easy pick up and play for kids as well with assisted driving. Well worth it if you have a Switch.

I own a Wii U and Mario kart 8 and that didn't stop my from trying Mario kart 8 Deluxe. I love the new modes and having it in portable is a dream come true.

This game brought back so much nostalgia. The only reason I put 4/5 stars is because you have to pay extra to unlock the old roads but either way this game is always fun for house parties.

It is what you expect from the Nintendo classic. Familiar but upgraded gameplay and all the Mario related characters. All in portable format. Awesome.

Who doesn’t love Mario Kart? It’s an essential game to own if you have the switch. Even my girlfriend will grab a controller and join in the fun.

The game seems almost the same as the previous version for the Wii U. Minor changes, new characters look great, my 6 year old son loves the gane as well.

Classic fun mario game, fun for everyone in the house

As of now March 2017 the Nintendo Switch has very limited games. Mario Kart 8 is a must have because Mario Kart in general is fun game. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has all the features of the Wii U version plus the season pass. So from the get go you already have extra racers and tracks to race on. One of the improvements this game as over the Wii U version is the battle mode. The game itself looks amazing docked or handheld it's amazing how far technology has come. My only take away is that if you don't play online it's basically the same exact game as the Wii U + Season pass.
