This Mario Kart has a ton of characters to choose from and a lot of different tracks also. Personally it’s my favorite Mario kart to date.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great game and great buy if you have a Nintendo Switch. If you have and are happy with the Wii U version though you can afford to skip this one as the new content that they added is barely much to talk about. It would have been great if Nintendo did some forward compatibility upgrades for people who had already played these on Wii U. Really this is just the Wii U version with some perks some due to the portability of the Nintendo Switch some to certain things being unlocked. If you haven't played the game on the Wii U this is definitely a must buy.

Great game with lots of fun tracks to race. Nice mix of easy tracks for younger kids and challenging for older kids. Fun for the whole family.

We loved growing up with Nintendo 64 so this game is very loved. The graphics are great and the options easy to choose from.

This game is really fun and was really easy for my wife to learn. She has never been a gamer or really into games but she really enjoys playing this game.

This is one game that is truly for all ages. I have with 4 year olds to my grandparents. It is easy to pick up and mainly it’s fun. I highly recommend.

Honestly this is the best Mario Kart you can get, unless you have a nostalgic attachment to an older one I can't see why you would consider any other one better. They fixed the awful battle mode in the Wii U version, and have all the dlc tracks included too. Just about my only complaint is not giving us the Mii Racing outfits free in this version, and maybe some nostalgic tracks I'd like to see back.

I love this game, my son who is 3 loves it too!! We play together and he can understand the controls enough to finish the race, even winning some of them.

Great game, my 5 year old loves it as much as my wife. Easy to play and has all of the original stuff built in. Highly recommend.

Mario Kart 8 is a beautiful, fun kart racer that introduces sound new ideas to Nintendo’s 22-year old franchise. While it doesn't reach Double Dash-levels of risk and experimentation, Mario Kart 8 builds on the series' most essential aspects better than any of its predecessors. Twisting U-turns, a blistering sense of speed, skillful track designs, robust tournament and online features, and gorgeous graphics fall into lockstep all at once. The end result shouldn't come as a surprise: Mario Kart 8 is the king of the mascot kart circuit, and it gave me hours of enjoyment.

A new Nintendo system launch doesn't feel right unless it comes with a new Mario Kart. Even though this is just a port of the game for the Wii U, it adds all of the DLC add ons and even brings back some things that started in the very first Mario Kart. I always break this game out when friends come over and it never fails to be fun. My only complaint is that it shouldn't be a full price game just for a port from an older system, even if it has new DLC add ons, most people had to buy it twice for the full price just to have more games in their Nintendo Switch library.

Mario Kart just keeps getting better and better. Runs great on the Switch and looks incredible on the screen. A ton of fun, must own for any Switch owner

All characters except for two are playable from the beginning and auto steering is great for beginners. Super fun for those who are more competitive too!

What can you say - it's a Mario Kart game and it's as fun as ever. Some new twists on tracks and being able to hold multiple items is nice.

Pretty fun iteration of the series. Very enjoyable, looks great, however, it does not offer much to those of us who played the wii U version a lot. From that perspective the $60 price tag can be tough to justify. The updates to the visuals make the game look great, especially on the Switch screen. Plenty of people seem be online already so the community is active and fun.
