This Mario Kart is one of the best to date! With new characters separating from the Wii U version and the return of Battle arenas! On the Wii U, Battle Mode would be played on the actual race courses. The Switch version goes back to its Battle Mode roots and pits you in an enclosed arena. No more driving around an entire course to find your enemy! The game handles as good as any other Mario Kart. If you skipped out on the Wii U version or not, this is a must-buy for Switch owners!

So I'm one of the, like, ten people who have a Wii U and I definitely already owned this game, including the DLC. I repurchased it because nobody else I knew had a Wii U and I wanted to, you know, play with friends and stuff. The online community is already bigger on the Switch, the graphical upgrade is instantly noticeable, and the ability to use Joycons means my three year old can play comfortably. Even if you already have a copy for the Wii U, just take the plunge.

Had this for the Wii U and bought for the switch. Very fun, but the exact same as the Wii U version.

I originally purchased this because my son was interested in the Switch thinking of all of the first games to play, I figured he would enjoy it. I, on the other hand, had minimal Nintendo Hi-Def graphics expectations....I was WRONG!!!! This game, as well as many others on this new Nintendo Switch platform, perform seamlessly, and look awesome!!! This is definitely not like any other of the Nintendo platforms...Well worth the purchase, along with I'm sure many more to follow!

It's Mario Kart, baby! You love it or you don't. It's got plenty of fun out of the box, with additional DLC to expand it. Graphics and controls are on point.

We play this every week it's a lot of fun it's especially fun when you play it with friends at a party as long as you have the extra joy-cons, graphics are great for a Nintendo game I'm a little biased because I'm a PlayStation man myself but at times I do have a lot of fun on this system especially playing this game you just can't go wrong with Mario kart
