I have played all of the Mario Karts starting with the original and this is definitely in the top! The thing I like about this Mario Kart is that there are So many various tracks, characters and karts! But what I don't really like about the game is that the tracks seem almost easy to do and can't fall off the side of the road creating an invisible wall to go off the side of the road unless you have a mushroom or special item. I also don't like there is no timer for racing unless you are doing time challenge. While the graphics are nice I think it lasts character and seems almost lifeless for each different character. Meaning - Link should be able to swing his sword when he is on his special Kart. Or Bowser's special item should be fireball.. Overall I would give it 8/10! Great switch game and play for hours but the characters seem lifeless and while there are lots of various karts, characters, and tracks. They seem almost meaningless and lifeless.. I wished they would have put more thought into the variety of characters, karts, and tracks!!! .

Fun for all ages. You don't have to be the best racer because the game helps those by giving them the best items.

My kids love this game, is super fun having all those characters.

Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U was great, but Deluxe manages to be even better. It includes all of the DLC from the original game, and also fixes the one weak spot of the original - battle mode. The previous version had battles take place on regular circuits instead of arenas. Deluxe brings back arenas and adds a stellar new map based on the Splatoon video game. The portable nature of the Switch makes this a can't-miss game, great for playing with friends anytime, anywhere.

Fun game for kids and teenagers alike. Easy to play and to learn as well. Little pricey but a lot of fun to play!!

Very fun game. I love the way that there are different ways to play for example there are the normal races the balloon competition with teams. Overall it is an amazing game.

The game is a blast! Threw me right back to middle school playing on the N64! Kids loved it too! We love playing together especially hooking the switch up to the TV and getting some split screen going!

It's so much fun, this is my second kart game since I was young, the first one was on PS1 "CTR" I love it so much even my dad who isn't a gamer used to play that with us, and now my girlfriend who isn't a gamer and refuses to play any game but now loving this game, the levels are great you get used to them pretty quick, but the thing is miss from CTR is a shield, having a shield item here would be really good when you're in 1st, other than that the game is fantastic.

Mario Kart 8 is a must have for the switch. The graphics is amazing. This game will keep you wanting more.

Classic Mario Kart game with enhanced graphics and game control. Kids are always playing it and the 4 player control on the Switch is awesome.
