A great game for families, easily understood by players of all ages, easy to lose a lot of hours to.

The game can be played as a single player and up to 4 at one time. ( Additional joycon must be purchased.) We play with 2 players in a race mode. After a few races we earn enough points to gain customizable pieces and additional characters. Fun for kids and adults.

Mario Kart 8 first came out on the Wii U. I played it a lot. Quite enjoyed it. Some of the best track design the series as seen. This version includes all of the DLC plus new characters. So that alone makes it a bargain if you never played it before. Also it has the return of a true battle mode with 5 different battle modes and 8 arenas. If you had it on the Wii U the battle mode plus the flexibility of the Switch make this a must buy yet again.

My son always beats me in this game. So easy to play but hard to beat him

Your classic Mario Kart comes to the Switch and brings the same excitement and energy that we know. It's nice to play with friends but you won't get much screen space if you use the Switch display instead of the dock to hook it up to your TV. But if your friends aren't around then it's equally as fun to just play on your own, plus you get the extra screen space that comes with playing alone.

This is the kids favorite Switch game. It’s great when you have family over or are having game night with 4 players attacking it at once.
