What do you original Mario Kart 8 The one big disappointment was battle mode they got rid of the battle arenas and had you fighting on tracks which made it really hard to get close to anyone most times you be driving around and you want even be able to find anyone else and that's the main thing they fixed with the new version yeah sure they added a couple of new courses but the big thing as battle mode if you already own it for the Wii U you will definitely Will need to pick it up for the switch just for battle mode

Same game as the Wii U Mario Kart 8. Only difference is added characters, vehicles, and maps. Solid game, new maps are very well done
