    This game takes everything great about Mario Kart 8 and adds the return of the classic Battle Mode with a few extras including a few new characters. The addition of Renegade Roundup to the Mario Kart Battle Mode is one of the best changes to the series in a long time. Also like all other Wii U to Switch conversions this one runs at full 1080p 60fps instead of the Wii U's 720p 59fps so there is extra clarity and detail to the game.

    Great Mario kart game, 1080p in a fake world looks better than you’d think. Some of the multiplayer settings are annoying ( how it randomly goes between battle modes, some of the maps are horrible). It is a solid addition to the series though.
