Ive never played a mario kart game so happy i snagged this on sale. Its been super fun!

At the end of the day it's Mario Kart. Like a new model Ford Mustang it offers some updated and refined game play for a tried and true classic. The best part is with the DLC you can get 48 courses and 42 characters to choose from. AND, all of the courses are unlocked so you and your gaming buddies can play them ASAP. One gripe is that they offer an auto assist type mode to help out new players stay on the course. It is a little confusing on how turn the mode off but at least it can be. Great game, fun courses and lots of replay value. Worth every penny you spend.

This game has excellent graphics overall and makes owning a Switch extremely fun. It's your same Mario Kart from previous games with more tracks and vehicles.

This is an awesome start-up game for the new nintendo switch console. Definitely has a sense of nostalgia and has a timeless gameplay feel. Good for all ages!

Graphics are GORGEOUS! Easy to play on the go. Plug in at home and BOOM, on a SUHD screen for even better picture. It's not a 4k game, but the colors pop out.

This deluxe version includes all DLC and new battle modes plus looks better than the Wii U version. Definitely worth getting, especially for the portability!

Even for those who already have it on other consoles MARIO cart on the switch is worth it just to have it on the go! Amazing quality and always fun to play.

I remember when I was a little one playing Mario Kart with my friends and family. I was terrible at first but over time became the best but no matter what the tracking shells still drive me crazy. lol I haven't had one since I was a kid so now that I have a little one of my own I have decided to get a switch along with this game to continue the tradition of playing games like this together because I've always been fond of these memories. Thank you for continuing to create this game after years and years.

So, yes, this is a slight upgrade to the Wii U version of Mario Kart 8, but no enough people bought a Wii U to really notice. This game is pure Mario Kart joy, and with the Switch, you will always have an extra controller for your friend to play with you on the train/plane/wherever. The game looks stunning and runs silky smooth in docked mode as well as handheld mode. The unlockables will keep you racing for hours and hours, and the online is very fun. Also, if you have friends that have a Switch, you can all play wirelessly without wifi. It's amazing.

Controls are so easy to use and the game continues with plenty of twists and turns! Load times are excellent and plenty of hours of game play for the money!

With the new updated battle mode and all characters and levels unlocked when you get the game this makes it the ultimate version of the game and a must have.

MK8 Deluxe is such a great racing game! There are dozens of characters and courses (all unlocked) to choose from and numerous unlock-able vehicle customizations. In this deluxe version of MK8, you get additional features like some new characters, the ability to hold 2 items at a time, and a proper battle mode. It also has "smart steering" for novice drivers who may have trouble staying on track. This feature can be disabled to allow more experienced drivers to take those risky shortcuts. Finally, since it's for the Switch - you can take it with you for racing on the go. <3
