Great game. Love to play. Easy to play. Always play with my son.

Cool game... it's been a long time since I've played video games.. (Probably Guitar Hero back in college... 2006-ish? Yikes) Mostly got the Switch and this game to better interact with my girlfriend and her family.. they are not gamers and neither am I... It's proven a fun way to get almost anyone to interact with one another (beyond the typical social niceties).

Excellent game for young (9 yr old in our case) and old! Easy to learn.

Purchased this as a gift and the person who I gave it to beat me as we started to play. Because of that I now no longer play this game. JK I love this game. It is one of the top purchased racing games in history. If you like mario and have a switch and want to race and you dont mind racing and and and and. JK im bored. ITs a game buy it if you want.

Although the price seems like it's not worth it if you've bought it on Wii U before. This is still a great game

Nintendo never fails when it comes to making entertaining games. Upon getting my Switch Lite, this was one of the games I decided to purchase. All I can say is, it's great! The graphics are incredible, and there's a ton of different maps. I have no complaints - it's a great game to pick up and play for a while, without having to be committed to playing for hours at a time. Recommend!

This game is perfect for a get together or party and has decent single player content.

One of few games my 5 year old can successfully play on the Switch! MK8 has a steering assist feature, "Smart Steering", it can easily be turned off for other players. Much like Super Mario Odyssey, this feature makes gaming fun/accessable for younger or beginner players. Up to 200cc races and battle mode, there's still a challenge factor, if desired.

It's really easy to play and it's fun. Also, you can play online with other users around the world.

After playing the original Mario Kart on SNES and N64 when I was a kid, I was excited to try out the newest version with my own kids. This game does not disappoint. It's easy to pick up for beginners and offers plenty of racing options for experienced kart fanatics. I haven't tried the online features yet, but local play has been a blast. This game is a must for Switch owners looking for something the whole family can play.

I suppose that if you’ve played one Mario kart, then you’ve just as well played them all. Not entirely the case here with this game. Yes: it’s a re-release from the Wii U version, yeah: it’s another Mario kart game and yes: it reminded me of the 3ds game from years and years ago. But this one is just fun. It’s not a bad game and it’s a breath of fresh air for anyone that just wants a fun race and nothing cynical or ‘too’ deep or whatever. It’s fun, it has call backs to other entries from the series and it’s very pretty. Add it to your collection if you’re into that sort of thing
