Just looks beautiful and having the ability to do two player on the go is amazing. Walk up to a friend and challenge them to a race! I have no trouble with using one joy con. There's a battle mode but even after putting many hours into the Wii U version, I find myself doing more of the same - racing.

This game is definitely harder than N64 version but it’s very fun. My daughter loves it also

When Mario Kart 8 released on the Wii U 3 years ago, it was a gem. The best racing, the highest number of tracks, and HD graphics. That said, there were a few things missing, such as a true battle mode. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fixes that and adds some. With new battle modes, new courses, and the ability to hold 2 items at once, this is the ultimate version of Mario Kart you can play with friends and family for years to come. Highly recommend for any Switch owner.

Great game, always fun by myself or racing vs others. I intend to get the track pack as it seems like a great value for the number of tracks you get. Turn off the cheating auto-steering, though. It's more fun and challenging.

Mario Kart 8 deluxe is the Mario Kart 8 from the wiiu BUT it includes all the DLC (add-on characters) that was offered separately on the wiiu. It also includes an amazing battle mode with three different battle types, one of which includes a cops and robbers type of mode as well. Online multiplayer let's you play with friends, people from your region or even worldwide. It's a great addition to your Nintendo Switch console and will bring hours of fun to you.

My sister's kids love playing this game. I have also challenged friends at races with it and we all enjoy it.

There isn't much to be said about this game other than it is really a fun and awesome game. We used to love playing Mario Kart Wii, as we as a family have spent countless hours playing it. This game is just a super upgrade of the original with some fantastic enhancements. Graphics for one are amazing, and some of the additional settings help prevent you from falling off the edges as easily as you did in MK Wii. Great game, highly recommended.

My wife and I coach an Esports team at the high school and one of the games is Mario Kart. We both have played it on her switch, but wanted to get a better feel for it and play against each other. Also, Mario Kart is just fun. So now we have our own copies.

In addition to its inclusions, it ala has two new features; assist mode, and the ability to hold 2 items. Both offer fresh ways to play. If you already abondoned your Wii U, pick this up for your Mario Kart fill.
