I had no issues getting used to the controls and love the fact that courses from older iterations are recreated here. Great game for the switch (2 controllers & portability). Due note, for online multiplayer, you will need to subscribe to Nintendo online.

Family Fun!

We can hook up our other remotes and have a family fun night playing this in normal race mode or battle modes. Great for the kids and for the family.

Kids love it!

They picked it up quickly and absolutely LOVE playing! Half the fun is picking out their characters and unlocking new cars or features. We have it set so they can't "die" - a guy grabs their cars with a fishing pole and hauls them back on the track - so they both finish the race and there's no crying!
