My son and I love this game. There are many tracks to choose from and will keep us entertained for quite a while. The game is easy enough for a 4 year old to understand and play.

I recently picked up the Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 is the first game I popped in to play. Yes, I have Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, but I wanted to play something that I can come in and out of easily. The graphics are great, the controllers are smooth, and I was truly happy with this game as a whole. Some tracks are similar to that of Mario Kart 7, on the 3DS, but this is just a great Nintendo classic! There's a large selection of characters and vehicle options as well as game modes. I'm mostly playing it on single player, but I did try the 2 player mode, using the left and right joy-con as players 1 and 2, and I was extremely impressed at how well it played. There wasn't any sense of lag or lessened game play experience. This is definitely a must for any Switch owner!

Love the Mario Kart series. One of the best couch co-op games ever made. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues the tradition of super fun multiplayer racing. Everyone I've played this with has at least enjoyed it, if not loved it. Having played several of the previous Mario Kart entries, I think this is contains some of the best elements of the previous, such as the ability to hold two items from Mario Kart Double Dash (GameCube). Two of the biggest new additions are the helps provided. Auto-accelerate and a guided steering. These are of the best help to younger kids who'd like to play and really anyone who isn't confident they can race. They are on by default, but you have the option of disabling them on a player-by-player preference. Overall, it is a must buy for the Switch!

I was a little reluctant to purchase his game since I had the Wii U version with all the DLC, but this game does not disappoint! The graphics look great and the new multiplayer modes and characters are awesome! Definitely a Switch must!

Great game, I wish it was less than 60 bucks, that seems way to much, id be more comfortable paying 40 even 50 Great maps, good graphics, many characters and vehicles

Nintendo does not stop surprising us by creating wonderful games that offer hours and hours of fun, this is one of those cases; 8 simultaneous players, many tracks and selectable characters. a whole work of art.

If you have a switch then this is a must have game. Lots of tracks and characters to choose from. Even better when you have friends over.

Purchased this game for my son as a reward for good behavior, and we both love playing it! The graphics are awesome, and the controllers for the Nintendo Switch make it easy to play even for a mom who doesn't usually play video games!

I'm a kid at heart when it comes tto this particular game it's the altamite game to play and I love this time of year Christmas brings me great cheer and a big smile for mario delux cart.

My 5 and 4 year old are having a great time. We also have the racing wheels. I think this makes it much easier for the kiddos to play. They race against each other and also play coop. It's a great addition if you are a Mario Kart fan.

Great game in the Mario Kart series. This is a deluxe version of Mario Kart 8 that was released for the Wii U. This game has all the great things that make Mario Kart fun. The tracks are great and varied with some popular tracks from older Mario Kart games. Controlling the game works great too. You can use the Joy-Cons, split the Joy-Cons for 2 player, and use the pro controller. They all work great and controlling the kart is responsive and tight. They also include a Smart controller mode which basically helps steer and accelerate, great for younger kids. They will feel they are actually racing and not have to worry about falling off the track. There a lot of content in this game: tracks, racers, different kart mods, and the online play is fun too. This is a must have for the Nintendo Switch!

Not absolutely necessary if you played the Wii U version, but its great regardless. Lots of neat extras and the same great gameplay. It would be nice if it wasn't $60 given its a re-release, but I still highly recommend it.

I purchased this game for the family to play together. It was a great idea! My son's and their kids have had repeat battles over who is the best. I recommend this and for everyone, but make sure you but the steering wheel adapters.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game is great for all ages! The Mario games are almost like a throwback to the classic original games from the 80s. Fun for all ages and something that you can compete against your kid with.

Love it, was always a huge fan of the 64 Mario Kart and was able to play the old courses.
