If you played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, this is the same title with a couple of added features. That being said, it's still a ton of fun and a great title to have while the Switch starts to populate its choices in titles. I personally have found it super satisfying to load up the game, play a quick race online in between normal day to day tasks. I think the full $60 price is a bit much for a re-release but I normally expect that from Nintendo.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a blast on the Nintendo Switch. I love all the tracks for this game and the new content they've released has also been a nice addition. Definitely recommend it.

Mario Kart has been my favorite game since I was a kid! I love that you can customize your car, play all the nintendo characters, and unlock new vehicle items and characters! Love all the tracks too!

With more tracks, karts, and characters then the original along with a new and improved battle mode, mario kart 8 deluxe is the definitive mario kart experience and a must own for any switch owner!

Who doesn't love Mario Cart?! Very fun on switch and you can play online with people around the world. Love all the different tracks they have available from the past consoles. GET THIS!

Love this Mario Kart version! So many tracks and characters it feels like endless options! Lots of fun to play and my grandson loves it!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is arguably one of the best mario kart games. It has a ton of maps and characters as well as multiplayer. I have heard of some people having connection issues with the multiplayer; however, it was flawless for me. My only complaint with it is the battle mode is a little lacking. I would like an option for balloon battle to be deathmatch and to control the amount of cpu players. Overall only minor frustrations in an amazing game. If you enjoy mario kart and you haven't played mario kart 8 on the wii u this is a must buy.

If you know Mario Kart, this is more of the same goodness. Racing, battles, tournament, more characters, more locations, more options, more items... this is the best version so far.

In my biased 2004 eyes, Wii and 7 are still my favorite alongside Double Dash which I regretfully never properly played, but 8 Deluxe is a great package of just a lotta Mario Kart. The new DLCs are slightly underwhelming with just the sheer amount of Tour tracks and lack of any more fun surprises like Link or Animal Crossing crossovers. Plus the fact the Mercedes product placement is still here from Wii U feels just weird. That said 200CC was a great addition and overall most of 8 Deluxe is just pure fun. At this point there will liekly be a new console coming soon and a new Mario Kart to go with it, so maybe wait for that but if you are sticking with the Switch for a while longer, 8 Deluxe is a grand time.

I am a Nintendo fan through and through. This version of Mario Karts combines older versions so that you get that nostalgia feeling along with newer versions so the kids enjoy it too.

Nintendo should be pretty much synonymous with MarioKart. This game is essentially a must-have if you own the Switch. As compared to the MarioKart version for the 3DS, one will see many improvements such as more tracks, better graphics, ability to hold 2 items, as well as new items. I think that online gameplay also has been improved so that people who are always in 1st place don't get any good defensive items, while others in last place get very beneficial items that can "even the playing field." This is a perfect family game, as it is a perfect game for those who are playing single-player. It is intense, clean, and such a fun time to play. This is one of the best MarioKart's out there!

This game is a must have if you enjoy the franchise. If you already had Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U, this is basically the same game. You pay the possibility of playing it on the go with friends.

We had this for our Wii U but it's so much more fun on our Switch. The graphics are amazing and there are lots of crazy fun races. Using the tilt controls makes it a little more challenging :)

Fun game. Same Mario Kart but new characters and new tracks as well as throwback tracks terror old Nintendo systems. My kid loves the game!

Awesome game, so many tracks to race on, which include updated tracks from previous mario kart games. Anyone can pick up and play this, regardless of age. Fun for the whole family!
