Mario cart 8 deluxe is by far my favorite game YET... I've played a bunch and keep going back to Mario Cart . It's very addicting lol. It is pretty hard to get to know all the ins and outs of this game. Just YouTube anything you want to know about the game. It's still worth it in my opinion.

I owned Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U and it was one of my favorite games. I was hesitant to purchase the Switch version. I decided to give it a shot and it was worth it. Yes, it's the same Wii U game, but the controls and graphics are so much smoother. The new BATTLE MODE makes this game perfect. With new levels and different modes it makes the purchase worth it. Online play is much improved as well. This is the ultimate version of MK8.

I got this game when it first released on Wii U and absolutely loved it, so now I have finally got the Switch version. The gameplay is perfect! It is a mix of actual racing game, and absolute mayhem with all the power-ups and stuff. I am not normally a fan of racing games but Mario-Kart is the exception to that.

I own the original along with the new deluxe version and it's up there in my favorite Mario Karts. This one has faster load times, some nice little polish added, 60fps 1080p gameplay with 1-2 players, an additional item slot, all the DLC from the original plus a couple new things and a great revamped battle mode! If you never had the chance to play or own the Wii U version and you like any previous Mario Karts I highly recommend this one!

Easy and effortless game night! We haven't been much of gamers since we were kids, and myself being more of a gamer than my husband! But this is a modern classic (oxymoron?)! Whether playing by yourself, or with another person or even 4 people, this is guaranteed a fun time!

The quality and vibrance of the images/graphics are great. My son loves playing this game.

Great game! It combines all previous Mario Karts and their tracks to give you a phenomenal experience, whether you're playing online or locally with your friends or family. It's a great addition with a few extra controllers at get togethers. Online play is challenging which is great!

My child loves this game! She is always looking forward to use it and play this game. It is age appropriate and she loves Mario Game.

This is a must have title for the Nintendo switch!!! Greater multi-player/ family fun filled game!!

I played the Wii U version and loved it -- I thought it was the best one. Then this one came out for the Switch and Nintendo made it even better! I unfortunately paid for the DLC for MK8 on the Wii U so the price is a little hard to swallow for the Switch version (another $60 bucks).

Fun game, lots of cool features, and everything looks so clear. more difficult race courses though.

This game is extremely fun and fast-paced. It seems to balance modifiability with quick-game-play action just perfectly. Our family plays 4-at-a-time on a large projector/screen set-up in the basement and everyone has fun. We've even played against other people in another household over the internet, and it worked great. Everyone had fun!

While I owned this game for he Wii U, this port is fantastic and just as fun with bonus additions throughout. If you haven't owned the Wii U version I'd say this is a must buy for the switch. If you have then I'd weigh the options and added features in this game against how much you're willing to pay. I personally got it for the portability and the easy to start multiplayer (because the switch comes with two controllers already).

Fun game to play with the little ones. Took a little to get use to the single controller.

This game is amazing!! It was way better than I expected it to be. The graphics, new maps and new game modes make it much better than the one I played for the Wii. After a couple of hours I would get tired of the one for the Wii but with this one there's a lot of options to keep you busy for much longer. The ability to earn coins in races to customize your loadout and gear makes it even better. Definitely a new favorite of mine!!

I've played every mario cart and this one takes the cake and eats it too. Has amazing remastered courses and a numerous amounts of vehicle customizations as well as fan favorite characters.
