This version has everything you love about Mario Kart, and the DLC makes it that much better. Must have for Switch owners. There are also options for younger/newer gamers to help them stay on course and move forward -- my niece was able to compete with the adults with these modes on and made thing that much more fun for all of us.

Ahhhhh yeahhh, you know how it when it comes to Mario Kart, you just gotta play it.

I've always been an MK64 fan through and through. Yes, I loved Double Dash, but the hours of battle I've played on block fort with most of my extended family takes the cake for Mario Kart fun for me. So to have a revamped battle mode in this update takes the original MK8 package from a passable entry to one of the best in the series. Couple that with the portability of the Switch and you really have the current pinnacle of what the series has always offered: simple, approachable, and varied fun.

Good game for kids and adult kids lol. bright colors and fun characters but you I have to buy an expansion pack if you want the rest of the characters.

This game is a blast for me and my fiancé to play, she isn’t a gamer but she loves playing this game and she’s a little too good at it lol, but all in all this game is so much fun and whether you want a huge challenge or a casual gamer you will have a great time playing this, the level design is top notch and to dat this is one of my favorite switch games, I love taking this to work and using the joycons as 2 controller and challenging co workers! Get it you won’t be disappointed!

I've been dealing with game systems since the beginning but I never was a serious gamer, just a few titles here and there that got me hooked. I've only owned one other nintendo system, which was a Nintendo DS, which I loved. I just picked up a Nintendo Switch and just this one game...Its so fun to race on these crazy tracks, and to be able to connect with other switch players while out and about. Pick this one up if nothing else. Of course when other games come out, check them out too.

My kids love playing this game, it definitely brings back memories for me husband and I.

Great addition to the MarioKart line. The best one yet and I’ve been playing since 1995? It has come a long way, trust me because I just played the SNES version on the switch for old time sake and the pixels compared to MarioKart 8 are laughable. Still super fun to play, just like this game. If your a kart newbie or a veteran u will not be disappointed in this version. I’ll see u on the track.

Great graphics and play. Just like the Mario carts over the years but updated with new tracks and fun items to collect.

Keep it simple, I had not played Mario Kart since the first one came out and I felt like nothing changed other than the amazing graphics and upgraded player experience. Timeless game that I get play on a great decide.

A great multiplayer game for the switch. One of the best Mario Kart games out there. It has plenty of content to keep you busy including great online play as well. With the dlc coming out for this game and releasing even more tracks to an all ready packed game, it is most certainly worth the price and picking up.

One of the best multiplayer gaming experiences around - and one that’s family friendly to boot. No grisly deaths or uncomfortable discussions needed and one that grandma can play right alongside the kids. Fun game with beautiful graphics and time-tested gameplay mechanics. Starts out deceptively simple, but there’s lots to learn to become a master drifter.

So much fun for the family to play together. Purchased during a snow storm to keep us from going stir crazy.

Best game for young children. The game controls are easy to learn and maps/racetracks are always fun. You can use each of the joycons as a separate controller, up to 4 players per console. Additionally, the ability to buy more maps/racetracks in game. My kids love this game, and so do I.

I've been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the go and it's really fun to just pickup and play. The multiplayer is fun as well.
