Kids love it!

They picked it up quickly and absolutely LOVE playing! Half the fun is picking out their characters and unlocking new cars or features. We have it set so they can't "die" - a guy grabs their cars with a fishing pole and hauls them back on the track - so they both finish the race and there's no crying!

What a blast!

We first played it at the arcade in Santa Cruz. After I bought a Switch it was one of the first games we had to get. We can play it for hours and never get bored. What a great game. A must buy for any Nintendo Switch owner.

Fun but not lasting

Other than that I wouldn't recommend this for to play by yourself. I can't justify the price of 60 for these reasons. This is looking past the nostalgia of me playing Mario kart 64. I can't suggest it.

And who can own a Nintendo system without having the latest Mario kart, right? So many courses and characters it doesn't get old. There is also so many different things to unlock that it you don't really feel like your racing for nothing. I still get excited unlocking a new kart or even a set of wheels.

This is the Mario Kart we know and love, dating all the way back to the SNES. Except with todays graphics. There is barely any draw in, graphics are fantastic. Even though technically the Switch falls below the Xbox One and PS4, you can't replace that Nintendo feel. Love this game.
