Being an enhanced port of the Wii U original, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe brings everything from the original release (including DLC) and adds a fine polish to it. I have yet to try out the online battles and racing, but single player and local multiplayer has kept my attention for longer than any other racing game out now.

Got this for my son. He absolutely loves it. I would recommend this game.

If you have played Mario Kart 8, don’t expect a lot of major changes outside of Battle Mode. The ability to carry two power-ups at once is nice but doesn’t make a massive difference. The already lush graphics look the same as they ever have to the naked eye, though the Switch tablet display really makes them pop.

I bought a Switch mainly for when I go on long trips and for playing with my kids. This is the first good family game to come out for the system and it is a lot of fun. The driver assists are great for younger kids like mine that are only 3 and 5 years old. There are a ton of maps to play and its great for all ages.

Love this game simple I have had a lot of fun with my special needs daughter, and grandchildren. Lots of fun any time. Graphics are nice too.

The game is really good. It's even worth buying again for those of us who have a Nintendo Wii U version because this one comes with all of the DLC content, better visuals and additional modes not found on the Nintendo Wii U version. Also, this can be taken where ever you go due to the portable nature of the Switch.

Any Mario game related is surely to be an adventure. Although it is targeted for a younger audience, it never fails to impress: the maps are always fun, wacky, and wild. The characters, as usual, are comical in every way. Importantly, it is nostalgic; Mario Kart takes you back to the N64 days of plain fun.

Got this game for my sister for her birthday. She hasn't revived it yet but she is a huge Mario Kart fan! I have a copy as well and we will now get to play together online! Super exciting and awesome fun game for the whole family! Must buy!

Love this Mario racing game! I ended up buy the course expansion pack which is also nice. I would definitely recommend this game!

You can never go wrong with the Mario series of games. Mario Kart is a family favorite!

Always a blast playing Mario Kart. Loved all the new characters you can choose from. Just wished they had some of the old race tracks and battle grounds like back in the day. I loved the 3 level four colored blocks when i would play the balloon challenge. Anyways, awesome game :p

The red shells, the lightening, the inking and the amount of bs I have endured is worse than 2012 cod lobbies. Great game fun for the family.

Mario Kart 8 is a great game for Wii U. The deluxe edition on the switch takes that game, adds DLC, and new characters and a new battle mode. Every character is unlocked from day one and there is a feature that keeps you from falling off the track and also auto acceleration. These are great for younger players!

The kids and I love this game. One of the best games to play on the Switch. We actually go an additional Switch and copy of the same just so the kids can play on the big screens while still playing with each other.

The WiiU Mario Kart with extra features that makes racing more fun, such as the ability to hold 2 items at a time. Also by default, some functionality is in place that helps keep you on the track and moving. This is an awesome feature for my young kids that want to play with me, but aren't too coordinated yet.
