If you played the Wii U version, this is pretty much the carbon copy of it with all the DLC. The game is family and kid friendly. We play on family night and we all have a blast. They offer a variety of control methods, where you can use the Pro controller, a single Joycon or both Joycons.

This game will make you buy a BIGGER TV!! Can play up to 8 people on one screen. We went from a 32 inch TV to a 72 inch and we're looking into 80+ due to this game. So much party fun for all adults and kids!

I’m a huge Mario kart fan. Originally I was waiting for a new Mario kart to come out since this one has been out for a while, but it’s no wonder they’re not making a new one yet. This game is great highly recommended.

Talk about needing something to occupy the family!!!! This did the trick. We now play 4 player each night for about 30 minutes. Its a great way to spend time with the family + talk a little trash to my kids/wife w/o getting kicked out of the house.

New levels, New games and it seems like the difficulty was turned up just a notch. Perfect Birthday present for anyone. The other cool thing is that Mario games always seem to keep a high resale value. So if you get bored of it, just trade it in. Always a Nostalgic experience playing Mario Kart with my kids.

This is the best version of MK ever! It's so fun and difficult and kid friendly but also entertaining enough for an adult. The controls are good. and the character options are great! I love this game it's probably my favorite. Highly recommend

Really fun game. The graphics look amazing and controls work really well. I do with they displayed the lap times like the old N64 version. Cool that you can play it with 2 players just using the left controler and the right controller. No need to buy a second controller. Really fun game to play with friends.

Mario Kart 8 is so much fun! I thought it would be boring because we have a bunch of other racing games, but there are different types of battles and arenas. It’s pretty fun!

Exactly what I wanted to add to the switch game collection. Definitely a must have! So fun and entertaining!

Mario Kart is an institution. It will never not be a fun game. That said, there are too many carbon copy characters. Mario, Baby Mario, Tanooki Mario, Metal Mario, Peach, Baby Peach, Cat Peach, and Pink Gold Peach. Why do we need padding when it comes to the same characters? I hope Mario Kart is slowly going the way of Smash Bros. Playing as Link and the Splatoon kids, not to mention Animal Crossing characters, feels like a natural progression. All the more need for new characters in the Mario Kart universe, not carbon copies!

Finally the return of Mario Kart with Mario Kart 8 deluxe. This is the most fun I have ever had playing a Nintendo game. The graphics are terrific and this a game for everyone to join in on the fun. I definitely will recommend this for anyone who is fortunate enough to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch.

This is the course is all time favorite Mario Bowser Luigi all the good guys right! I love this game because my 4-year-old can play it and have fun while he's learning the switch. Highly recommended!

This is the first game I bought for the switch and I still play it and have more hours in this game than any other. This is the best switch title in my opinion because it never gets old. You can play and play and still have fun years later.

Mario has been one of my kids favorite games for years! This game was purchased for my daughter to pass time while deployed out to sea. She loves the game and helped her get through a few rough times. I think this is a hit for most kids and young adults!

The game play of Mario Kart is spectacular. It's also a great game for all ages and skill levels. Right out of the box the game is tuned to assist those who aren't veterans of the series. The game is also beautiful. All of this results in the strongest release of the Mario Kart franchise. The only qualm I have with the game is I wish they gave the player more incentive to come back and play the single player mode. It would have helped if there were a number of characters to unlock based on progress and achievements. However, since this is a deluxe addition, everything is there from the get go which some may prefer. Overall this is a fantastic family friendly game.

A Great Game To Play Alone Or With A Group Of Friends. The Gameplay Is Awesome No Lags No Freezing Everything Thing About This Game Is Great. This Is The Deluxe Version And That Means It Come With New Players, New Tracks, And A New Battle Mode. I Would Highly Recommend This Game Its A Must Have.

Mario Kart 8: Deluxe has so much going for it. Beautiful visuals and art design, a soundtrack that is fun and catchy, and plenty of replayability. I love the options the game gives in terms of selectable characters, modes, courses, and more. Great choice for all Nintendo Switch owners!
