Already knew MK 8 was a great game from my playing it on the WiiU, the deluxe version for the Switch is even better. Upgraded visuals, more characters, and an improved battle mode. Would have love a completely new MK game, but this will hold me over until that happens.

Grew up playing this game and now several years later this game is still as fun. Love the new maps and twist on the old classic and the different characters, definitely worth picking up with you have a switch.

Hard to beat Mario Kart and this version is hard to beat. So many more races than previous installments. New items, driving styles, and kart modifications give this game tons of replay value. And of course the best part about Mario Kart games is the multiplayer. Endless fun.

I have not owned a Mario Kart game since Mario Kart 64, but I can see the franchise has come a long way since then. It really seems like Nintendo took an already solid game series and built on it with a huge selection of courses, cars and characters. A blast at parties!

This game is a blast and continues in the tradition of Mario Kart games. My only complaints are the online play (trying to que up with a friend is near impossible) and the fact that they do not show how much more you need to earn to get an upgrade. Other than that, excellent fun.

This updated version is significantly better then the old one. The buying experience with Bestbuy was the easiest and most fluid.

Must buy for fans of Mario kart, but also essential for Switch owners. May seem daunting at first, but learning curve is not bad, even for non-gamers, and you'll have a lot of fun along the way. Bonus with the Switch is that you only need a 2nd joycon to have 4 players.

How can you not love a good Mario Kart game? My wife and I love racing each other or whoever is willing to challenge us.

Nintendo’s main branch games are always great. I love the Mario Party and Mario Party games on Switch!

I've played a ton of cart racing games but none compare to this. Nintendo just knows how to make a great cart racing game. Fun and easy to pick up and play. The whole family can enjoying racing with 4 player local races. This game alone is half the reason I bought a Switch!

Came with the Switch console as a bundle... Game is super fun, colorful and has more action... I remember playing the original version, so this bring some nice memories -and fights of course- with my siblings!!!

My son loves this game. 100% Recommended. Many game modes and endless adventures.

There's no real sense of accomplishment for me anymore since I don't really need to unlock more tracks or anything. You do still need to collect coins to unlock more vehicles, wheels, and gliders, but all characters and all tracks and all mode, 50 cc through 200 cc and mirror are already unlocked. The gameplay formula is the same as any other mario kart, they now let you hold a backup item which is nice. I took away one star just because I don't like that practically everything is unlocked already. But the game is still tremendous fun alone or with local friends or online!

I bought this on the Wii U, but due to how good it was I double dipped with the Switch version. The improved battle mode is worth the purchase alone, in my opinion. I have lost track of time on several occasions playing online because it's so fun. Must buy for all Switch owners.

Mario kart has always been a classic family friendly game and this version is no exception! It's filled with tracks from several previous Nintendo systems and is sure to keep everyone entertained.

Can't go wrong with Mario cart. Fun for all ages. Tons of characters and maps.

Love the graphics and all the customizations. The raves are extremely difficult but fun. Def different from N64 Mario kart

I needed something that my kids and I could all play together that wasn't complicated. As always, Mario Kart is a win and this version is the best yet when it comes to kids. It has setting to auto help drive/steer for the kids which helps keep them less frustrated.
