This is a port of mario kart 8 from the wii u. They did include the two dlc packs that you have to purchase if you are playing on the wii u. They also added a few new characters from splatoon. If you like mario kart and have a switch... you should have this game.

We have the Playstation 3 and xbox one but my kids are too young to really have fun with those, so we got the switch. Now even the 3 year old gets to compete and have fun! This game allows everyone to play at the same time so no fighting over the controls.

This game is awesome with a lot of Features and new characters and it’s fun playing with friends I love Mario kart since the beginning they first started Mario kart. I will always recommend people to get it and enjoy with friends and family.

Been playing Matio Kart since the Super Nintendo days. Have always been a big fan and will always be. If you have not played Mario Kart, you are missing out.

Fun game to play with a couple people or the whole family. Graphics are good. I like the way that the switch controllers work for it. I have not tried the switch wheel yet but will probably get those as well. Pretty much just like all the other Mario Kart games.

Do you like Mario Kart? Unless you are vehemently opposed to this series, this is the game that most embodies what the Nintendo Switch is about - good, clean fun with anyone, anywhere. Okay, and a lot of swearing at friends, but again, that's Mario Kart.

This title is an excellent addition to the Switch library! My wife and I play versus, and the various game type options leave you with so many different ways to play the game. At $33 with the Gamer's Club program, this is a no brainer add to any gamer's collection!

I could play this game for hours! They have incorporated old maps that bring nostalgia while giving the game a revamped feel and look!

As a stand alone game, great Mario Kart Game! If own Wii U version, however, not enough difference to purchase unless needed for switch portable functionality.

I held out for this game, let me say that was a mistake as it is amazing and wish I should've bought it sooner. Playing a Mario kart game is super fun as I haven't in years. Would recommend!

It's classic Mario Kart racing fun; easily the best in its class. This version comes with all of the extra content of the Wii U version, and runs just as well, if not better than the original version.

I love this game and have a Wii U copy but didn't have the DLC. For me it was worth it to have it on switch and to get all the dlc but for others it is probably a pass if you have it on Wii U. For the many who didn't get a Wii U this is a must have for switch

The game was purchased for my kids. They love it. Adults in the house have also played and enjoyed it. We like seeing the addition of the ACNH course. Over all cute game, really fun.

My daughter had to have this, so she could play with all her friends who got it for Xmas! Everything is better than the Wii version she used to play, and still has some of her favorite tracks. Plus a bunch of new ones!

It's a great game and I love it has all the doc. The joy cons work great for two players . Game gets a little repetitive at times but I always come back to it
