Anyone who has played this on the Wii U knows that it is just about the best Mario Kart ever, and it's even better on the Switch since Battle Mode has been greatly improved.

I have the Wii U version of this game to include the extra downloaded tracks that I bought. This version of the game is the best, hands down. The ability to split the switch controllers to mini coupled with the auto go and assisted driving options allow my 4 year old to be an asset on the field and participate when his 6 and 8 year old sisters play. It is so cute hearing them team play and help each other out in the team battles. Their favorite has been the renegade run. All in all, this has been worth its price within the first week. I just wish the Wii U could have been this good initially. Would definitely recommend this for switch. Great FAMILY fun!!!

This is easily the best version of Mario Kart that you can get. It's a great showcase for the Switch as well. The portability of the system, combined with split-screen play is excellent.

If you have the wii-u version this is pretty much all the DLC plus a few extra characters. Right now the online is VERY unstable. It is hard to connect to a friend and unlike the wiiu version (where if a room is full you can watch until a spot opens up) if the room is full you can't join (which makes racing with friends in non private rooms a pain in the butt). They did fix battle mode though which moves this from a 3 to a four star.

had always love mario kart games since the super nintendo era. its a must have for every one who owns the console.kids enjoys this game very much great game for family and friends night.

I've been waiting for this since the Nintendo Switch released, and it was well worth the wait. I haven't played a Mario Kart game since the N64 days, and I can't put the controller down!

I grew up on NES and SNES and the first mariokart was amazing. This brings back those same memories! Lots of options, beautiful graphics, classic fun!

It's like Mariokart 64, only for the Switch! Blue shells are very rude. If your friend hits you with a blue shell, are they really your friend?

Super fun and easy to use! This is a great game! With the COVID -19 issue I had some time in my hand! Purchased a old favorite for the Switch

I like that i can play with my family and friends. We can all enjoy ourselves and have fun.

Such a great portable game, made even greater by the fact that you can still dock it to your tv and play on the big screen. Easily the second game you should buy for Switch after Zelda.

Bought this game for me and my wife to play occasionally with friends and it's incredible. A blend of all racetracks from previous games and just is a blast. Well worth the purchase.

I've read that this is just a redo of the Wii U version, which it might be. I never played that version. It is still a fun and great game. Definitely worth buying for the Mario Kart fan.

This game brings me back to my childhood. The game is way more in-depth then the Super Nintendo one I started on but brings back major nostalgia.
