I’m sure the game is great as it is one of the highest rated and bought, but I returned it to get multiple games for the same cost.

My grand daughter got me hooked on this game . In the beginning she would mop up the floor with me . I now own her and her brothers and sister . I purchased this game for my niece 9 ( another victim ) .

I am a Nintendo fan through and through. This version of Mario Karts combines older versions so that you get that nostalgia feeling along with newer versions so the kids enjoy it too.

Nintendo should be pretty much synonymous with MarioKart. This game is essentially a must-have if you own the Switch. As compared to the MarioKart version for the 3DS, one will see many improvements such as more tracks, better graphics, ability to hold 2 items, as well as new items. I think that online gameplay also has been improved so that people who are always in 1st place don't get any good defensive items, while others in last place get very beneficial items that can "even the playing field." This is a perfect family game, as it is a perfect game for those who are playing single-player. It is intense, clean, and such a fun time to play. This is one of the best MarioKart's out there!

This is probably one of the greatest multiplayer games out there for friends and family alike. The amount of effort put into this game must’ve been great and hopefully Nintendo continues to improve on this game formula

This game is a must have if you enjoy the franchise. If you already had Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U, this is basically the same game. You pay the possibility of playing it on the go with friends.

It’s a good game, little better graphics than the WiiU. All the tracks are available, that’s great. Must not be missing in your collection

We had this for our Wii U but it's so much more fun on our Switch. The graphics are amazing and there are lots of crazy fun races. Using the tilt controls makes it a little more challenging :)

In my biased 2004 eyes, Wii and 7 are still my favorite alongside Double Dash which I regretfully never properly played, but 8 Deluxe is a great package of just a lotta Mario Kart. The new DLCs are slightly underwhelming with just the sheer amount of Tour tracks and lack of any more fun surprises like Link or Animal Crossing crossovers. Plus the fact the Mercedes product placement is still here from Wii U feels just weird. That said 200CC was a great addition and overall most of 8 Deluxe is just pure fun. At this point there will liekly be a new console coming soon and a new Mario Kart to go with it, so maybe wait for that but if you are sticking with the Switch for a while longer, 8 Deluxe is a grand time.

Fun game. Same Mario Kart but new characters and new tracks as well as throwback tracks terror old Nintendo systems. My kid loves the game!

This a essential for the Nintendo Switch, it improves upon the Wii U version with new characters, some twists on from previous versions, and a cool new VS mode only in this version. Get it now!

Awesome game, so many tracks to race on, which include updated tracks from previous mario kart games. Anyone can pick up and play this, regardless of age. Fun for the whole family!

Like iterations before this new gen game, the races are much more detailed and varied. all the characters you've played with and more are all back to see who wins. lots of fun.

Bought this game as my first game because how can you not? It’s dope! I’ve always been a huge Mario kart fan, and this game is great. I love playing with other people. It’s always fun!

This latest iteration of the beloved Mario Kart series is no disappointment. The drafting, the drifting, the drift boosting, the starting line boost, the racing weapons, all of that is here. They have classic maps as well as new ones to feast your eyes on with updated graphics and great definition. I also liked the higher CC classes. I prefer fast racing so the 200CC class was a great addition for the speed demon. A few new weapons as well and you can hold two power-ups at once now as well. The battle rounds are also fun to play and you get to compete with people around the world. Very fun for local multiplayer as well as online play.

This game is a must own for the Nintendo Switch for both people who missed out on the original and played the original. It's includes all of the DLC from the original game, all new battle mode maps, new characters, returning items from previous Mario Kart games such as boo, and a few tweaks to make it much better than the original game. Runs at a smooth 60 FPS in single or 2 player, but frame rate drops with 3 or more players. Which is common and expected. A friend can join split screen to play online. Battle mode is actual battle maps now and adds more fun to the game than the original Wii U version. Controls great with the Joycon and pro controller. Buy this game today!

The graphics are awesome and the races include some of the classics like Moo Meadows. The new characters and different types of cars (like hangliders) make the game so much more fun. The coin challenges like the one in Luigi’s Mansion brings more creativity. Overall it is loads of fun!
