My 4-year-old loves this game. The auto-steering and auto-accelerating options help him tremendously and make it a lot of fun for him without getting frustrating or too challenging. I do feel like the steering wheel holders for the joy-cons are pretty vital for him to hold and steer correctly. He can play by himself or we can play with him. The delivery was fast as well!

Well, I was a little burnt out on Mario Kart for a while (last version I played was the one on the Wii back in 2008), but I decided to take the plunge on the new Switch version. Gotta honestly say it's an absolute blast to play. I know it's "more of the same", but the variety of tracks is great and couch multiplayer is awesome once again. Pro controller is best for me, but I want to keep practicing with the Joy-Cons so I don't hoard the good controller every time...

This game has been so fun to play. I can’t stop playing this game because it’s so awesome. There are a lot of things to get, cars to unlock. The race tracks are amazing and the fun just keeps on coming. My kids love this game, I had to buy 3 in order to have competition with the entire family on the go, and I do not regret it. If you don’t have a switch, you should just buy it for this game a lone. That’s how awsome this game is.

Great game, always fun by myself or racing vs others. I intend to get the track pack as it seems like a great value for the number of tracks you get. Turn off the cheating auto-steering, though. It's more fun and challenging.

Simply put, you can't go wrong with this game. Tons of options for game play and fun for all ages.

I suppose that if you’ve played one Mario kart, then you’ve just as well played them all. Not entirely the case here with this game. Yes: it’s a re-release from the Wii U version, yeah: it’s another Mario kart game and yes: it reminded me of the 3ds game from years and years ago. But this one is just fun. It’s not a bad game and it’s a breath of fresh air for anyone that just wants a fun race and nothing cynical or ‘too’ deep or whatever. It’s fun, it has call backs to other entries from the series and it’s very pretty. Add it to your collection if you’re into that sort of thing

I had only played Mario Kart on a Nintendo 3DS; so, being able to play on a large TV screen is great. My kids and I have played in 3-player split-screen mode, and it's a blast. Two of us have been using the two halves of the joy-con controller, and while they are a little small to hold, they work fine. Eventually, you find a way to hold them that works. Also, having all the tracks, carts, etc. available without needing to purchase DLC makes this game a good value.

I usually play single player focused games offline, but still had lot of fun with this game. Quite a few characters, lots of amazing tracks and modes. Online modes are cherry on the cake. Havnt played the game on Wii U, so cant compare how better this is, but on switch, enjoying this game a lot.

It strikes a careful balance between refining old ideas while introducing fresh new ones. Admittedly, its gorgeous graphics and jazzy orchestrated soundtrack bolster its presentation, but you’re getting a lot more than just looks with this one – although I spent an awful lot of time gawking at the details in slow-motion, the fast and furious pace of racing with friends both locally and online is what really kept me coming back.

Purchased this as a gift and the person who I gave it to beat me as we started to play. Because of that I now no longer play this game. JK I love this game. It is one of the top purchased racing games in history. If you like mario and have a switch and want to race and you dont mind racing and and and and. JK im bored. ITs a game buy it if you want.

I've been a Mario Kart fan off and on for many years. The best part about these games is also the worst part for my egocentric approach to games. Even the most skilled and experienced players can end up losing miserably from a stroke of bad luck. However, this is great for parties or playing with your less game enthused or non-gamer friends. They have a fair shot at doing very well and staying engaged because of the tools at their disposal on the various, well designed racetracks, many of which play fantastic homage to the franchise's charming history. This is not to say that inexperienced players will win as often or do as well as the more experienced ones all the time, but they'll have a lot of fun and do well enough to enjoy themselves. If you want a more fast paced or intense racing experience, try one of the other racing games for the Switch and do your research. If you want a charming, family-friendly game that is easy to get into and enjoy with people of any level of gaming experience, this game won't disappoint.

I grew up playing Mario kart and the fact that I get to play it again is something I’ve never thought I’d ever get to experience again I’m glad I bought this game

Love this family fun game. Was able to play this game with my daily love to customization and the great add ons. I would for sure recommend this game to all customers.
