    I was hesitant on buying this game for these reasons: 1. I already owned Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U and didn't want to pay for it again 2. The updates in Deluxe were not worth the price But I ended up getting this game because: 1. I needed something to play during my travels 2. There weren't any other options in terms of games in the Switch library The game is pretty much the same as the Wii U version, except you get to take the game on-the-go. The karts and characters don't bring any extra value to the game, and the battle mode is pointless if you don't play online. I only recommend this game if you're willing to pay full price again to be able to travel with it.

    I bought my daughter a Switch on the condition that we would buy a racing game that we could play together. Shockingly, i beat her regularly. That's a total surprise since i've never beaten her at any video game. Highly recommended if you need to beat your kids at a video game.
